🐍🕷️🐌 Critters Galore at Linden House! 🦎🐸

What an egg-cellent afternoon we had at Linden House with ZooLab! 🐾💚

Our residents had the most fantastic time getting up close and personal with an amazing selection of creepy crawlies and furry friends. From snakes and spiders to other fascinating little critters, there were plenty of “ooohs”, “aaahs” and “I’m not touching that!” 😂

The engagement was absolutely brilliant, with residents chatting, laughing, asking questions and sharing stories about animals they’d encountered over the years. 🥰

There were definitely a few brave residents who were more than happy to get involved… and a few who preferred to admire our visitors from a VERY safe distance! 🤣

A huge thank you to ZooLab for bringing such an exciting and memorable experience into Linden House. 💚

It was wonderful to see so many smiles, curiosity and interaction throughout the session. Critters, conversation and lots of fun — what more could we ask for? 🐍🕷️🐌❤️

🎪😂 LINDEN HOUSE FAMILY FUN DAY — WHAT A DAY! 😂🎪

Well… what can we say?! We only went and did it! 🎉🙌

Our Family Fun Day was brought to life with games, laughter, tickets, prizes galore and plenty of competitive spirit! 🎟️🏆😂

The residents, families and staff all got involved — although we’re still trying to work out who was actually the most competitive! 👀🤣

And then came the BEST part…

💦💦 SOAK THE MANAGEMENT TEAM! 💦💦

Let’s just say… some members of management may have walked into work thinking they were in charge…

…and walked away looking like they’d just survived a monsoon! 🌧️😂

The residents absolutely loved it, and we’re pretty sure a few staff members enjoyed throwing those sponges and water bombs just a little bit too much! 🤣💦

A HUGE thank you to every single person who helped
organise, set up, run the games, serve the food, hand out prizes, tidy up and generally make the madness happen! ❤️

Your time, effort and support really is appreciated, and we couldn’t have done it without you. 🥰

🍉 Happy National Watermelon Day! 🍉

Yesterday at Linden House we celebrated National Watermelon Day with lots of smiles, creativity, and a delicious healthy treat!

Our residents enjoyed making beautiful watermelon-themed crafts, sharing stories, and showing off their artistic talents before sitting down to enjoy some fresh, juicy watermelon together. 🍉🎨

Activities like these encourage creativity, support fine motor skills, spark conversation, and provide opportunities to socialise while enjoying a refreshing seasonal snack.

It has been a wonderful day filled with laughter, colour, and sweet summer flavours. ❤️

Nothing brings people together quite like a friendly game! 🎾🏐

Today our residents enjoyed some fun ball games, encouraging everyone to get involved at their own pace. These activities aren’t just about having a laugh—they also help to improve dexterity, hand-eye coordination, mobility, and confidence, while promoting inclusion and social interaction.

It was wonderful to see so many smiles, teamwork, encouragement, and a little healthy competition along the way! At Linden House, we believe every activity should be accessible, enjoyable, and give everyone the opportunity to feel involved and valued.

Sometimes it’s the simplest games that create the happiest memories. 💙

🎾 Game, Set… Match! 🎾

With Wimbledon inspiring us all this week, our residents decided to get into the sporting spirit with a friendly game of table tennis! 🏓

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, a little healthy competition, and lots of encouragement from everyone watching. Activities like this are a fantastic way to keep active, improve coordination, and most importantly, have fun together.

Who says you have to be on Centre Court to enjoy a great game? At Linden House, every match is a winning one when it’s shared with friends! ❤️

💙 Young & Old, Together in Laughter 💙

Today was a beautiful reminder that age is just a number. Our wonderful residents had the pleasure of spending time with one of our youngest visitors, enjoying a fun game of ring toss together. 🎯💛

There were smiles, laughter, words of encouragement, and plenty of friendly competition as generations came together to share a special moment. These intergenerational activities bring so much joy, helping to create meaningful connections, reduce loneliness, and remind us all of the importance of community.

Watching our residents and our little visitor cheer each other on was truly heartwarming. It’s moments like these that make Linden House such a special place to call home. 🏡❤️

Thank you to our little helper for bringing so much happiness and energy into our day. We can’t wait for the next visit!
