Culturapedia works creatively with the people of Lancashire to give ideas legs. We are based in Blackburn, but open to working with all like minds, everywhere.

We work to support communities to select and host live arts events on their doorstep. We are passionate about enabling people to feel that the arts are for them, on their own terms. We produce our own projects, but very happy to talk through ideas and collaborate.

Culturapedia has been recognised by with a major award for Community Impact. The accolade highlights the transformative success of and its partnership with library services across Lancashire.

Spot On Lancashire has pioneered a model for bringing professional performing arts directly into the heart of local communities. By utilising libraries - recognised as democratic, accessible, and inclusive spaces - high-quality cultural experiences are available to residents without the need to travel to major urban centres.

The programme has been praised for its ability to place live art in the "right places," fostering an environment where individuals feel comfortable attending performances alone. This approach has positioned Lancashire as a national leader in championing libraries as vital venues for the performing arts and supporting them to achieve their universal library offer for culture and creativity.

Yay, we've been nominated for a Green Champion Award for our programme . Great to be recognised as a low impact service, striving to improve further at all points. Fingers crossed that we win 🏆 on June 10th at . The national conference.

Tonight we were in Parish Hall with for 's Eyes Down. A thriller about bingo. Audience loved it.
A stunning drive to get there in the evening Spring sunshine. Bleasdale seems so remote and we then walked into a bingo hall. .
Spot On helped commission this show alongside the CTC project with and funding from . A great success. Well done

The awards keep coming.

We were thrilled to receive this award from for Most original use of Characters. For Hodman and Sally's Big Burnley Adventure. Part of the Burnley Words Festival. https://burnleywordsfestival.co.uk/hodman-sallys-great-burnley-adventure/.
Hodman and Sally toured the sights of Burnley last Summer offering their own unique take on places like the , and Queen Street Mill. They are well worth a watch.
