We know that thoughtful, detailed feedback is an important part of learning to become a counsellor. It’s where we can support professional development, invite reflection and help trainees make sense of their learning.

So when three different pieces of feedback recognise the time, patience, reading, marking and thought that our Linsey and Sam put into it, we’re going to take a moment to sit with it. 💙

Today, we're celebrating 🎉

There are many emails that make your day. And then there are emails that make your f**king decade 😂💙.

Celebrating students achievements is genuinely one of the loveliest parts of what we do at Training for Counsellors. We KNOW how much work sits behind these certificates - the learning, the practice, reflecting, doubting, stretching, steadily growing and recognising the practitioner you are becoming.

So, yes ... we rather like receiving emails like this one. And we'll be keeping it for a long time 😁

And releasing certificates comes alongside our conversations for the next cohort. We're currently interviewing for our Online Advanced Diploma in Clinical Supervision.

We notice such a lot of things when we're with clients: body language, tone of voice, words that are said or not said, even the smallest shifts in energy.

Today, our Sam went to a flower farm. We didn't even know that was a thing round here.
But when she talked about it afterwards, the conversation was so sensory: the calm, the colours, the sight of bees and butterflies, the warmth of the sun alongside the chill of the breeze.
