💙Meet The Team Monday💙

We are delighted to share that Sarah Fraser has recently progressed in her role and is now our Senior Funeral Director.

Sarah brings over 15 years of experience with Dignity Funerals, during which she has developed an outstanding reputation for providing compassionate, professional, and personal care to families during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

In her role as Senior Funeral Director, Sarah supports colleagues and families across Preston, Blackburn, Accrington, and Burnley, while predominantly caring for families served by H & G Wilde Funeral Directors, H J Whalley & Sons, and Birtwistle & Rishton Funeral Directors.

Sarah is passionate about her role and takes great pride in helping families create meaningful and fitting farewells for their loved ones.
Her dedication, experience, and commitment to excellence ensure that every family receives the support, guidance, and reassurance they need to say the very best goodbye possible.

🧸💙 COME AND JOIN US AT COMMUNITY FUN DAY! 💙🧸

We’re delighted to be joining the fantastic Community Fun Day at Roman Road Centurions FC on Sunday 30th August from 1pm onwards! 🎉

There’s going to be loads of fun for all the family, with stalls, games, refreshments, a raffle, bouncy castles, face painting, toys, treats and lots more! 🎈⚽🍦

And of course, you’ll find us there with our Teddy Tombola! 🧸🎟️

We’ll have lots of lovely teddies waiting to find their new homes, and there’s an extra special reason for us to get involved…

💙 100% of the proceeds we personally raise through our Teddy Tombola will be donated to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, supporting the vital and incredible work they do for children and their families.

So please come along, have some fun, grab yourself a teddy and help us raise as much as we can for such a wonderful cause. Every ticket really will make a difference. 💙

A Huge Thank You to Our Wonderful Community ❤️

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has kindly donated to our local Food Bank.

Thanks to your generosity, we were delighted to donate an incredible 14.6kg of food to help support those in our local community who may be struggling and in need of a helping hand.

We have also received a lovely letter thanking us for the donations, and we wanted to share our thanks with everyone who contributed. Every tin, packet and item donated makes a difference, and we are so grateful for your kindness and generosity.

And we’re not finished yet! 🥫❤️

We are still accepting donations for the Food Bank, so if you would like to contribute, please feel free to call in and drop off any non-perishable food items.

Together, we can continue to make a real difference in our community.

We’re getting ready for an upcoming Teddy Tombola in support of charity, and we’d love your help! 💙

If you have any new or pre-loved teddies in good condition that you’d be happy to donate, we would be incredibly grateful.

Sometimes, the most important thing we can do is simply listen. 🤍

When a family walks through our doors, they’re not just telling us about a funeral that needs to be arranged.
They’re telling us about someone they love.
They tell us about the person they were — the things they loved, the things that made them laugh, the hobbies they were passionate about, the music they enjoyed, the places they loved, and all those little things that made them them.
And we listen.
Because it’s through listening that we begin to understand the person behind the name.

We can then help families choose the right music, flowers, vehicles, tributes and personal touches — not because they are simply options on a list, but because they have meaning. Because they remind us of the life being celebrated.
