πŸ’œ Congratulations to Grace Banham on receiving a prestigious British Citizen Award in recognition of her outstanding support for families affected by baby loss, birth trauma and maternal mental health challenges.

Following the loss of her daughter Violet eight years ago, Grace has dedicated herself to helping others, using her experience to raise awareness, support bereaved families and help shape services across Lancashire and South Cumbria.

From co-designing the Lancashire and South Cumbria Reproductive Trauma Service to helping develop peer support for those grieving the loss of a baby, Grace's compassion and commitment continue to make a real difference.

A truly deserved recognition. Thank you, Grace, for everything you do for families across our communities. πŸ’œ

A new outreach van is helping bring care directly into communities, supporting people who might not usually access traditional services. So far, it’s delivered vaccinations, NHS Health Checks and cancer screening conversations in places like football stadiums and Blackburn bus station.

The aim is simple: make care easier to access, identify health risks earlier, and reduce inequalities.
