With temperatures soaring, please take extra care of yourself and those around you.

✅ Stay hydrated – drink plenty of water throughout the day
✅ Check on elderly neighbours, relatives, and vulnerable people
✅ Avoid prolonged exposure to the midday sun where possible
✅ Wear light, loose-fitting clothing and use sunscreen
✅ Never leave children or animals in parked vehicles
✅ Know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke

A little preparation can make a big difference during hot weather.

🚑 Another busy weekend completed for the Northwest Medical Assistance team.

With events safely covered and equipment cleaned, checked, and restocked, the vehicles are now tucked up and ready for the next call.

June is shaping up to be one of our busiest months yet, with multiple events across the region and our teams continuing to provide professional event and pre-hospital medical support wherever it’s needed.

A huge thank you to all of our staff who give up their weekends to keep participants, spectators, and organisers safe.

Now it’s time to recharge before we do it all again. 💚

A busy few days for our NWMA teams, so a simple reminder to everyone: look after yourselves.

Take time to rest, cool down and rehydrate properly — especially if you’ve been working outdoors, attending events, travelling, or supporting others.

Small things make a big difference:
Drink water, take breaks, find shade where you can, and check in on those around you.
