Sunrise Support are getting themselves into something BIG!

Sean Kenny & Nathan Lowings, two of the directors from Sunrise Support will be cycling from London to Paris on 3rd September 2026. It will take them three days to reach their destination. This is an extraordinary challenge and you may think that these two are MAD for doing so (they are) but the reason they are taking on this challenge is to raise money for the Blackpool Carers Centre. Their aim is to reach £3,900 in donations and have already proudly pledged £2,000 of that themselves.

Blackpool Carers Centre is a local charity that provides vital support to unpaid carers of all ages. The charity offers respite, emotional support, activities, counselling and practical help to families who care for loved ones with disabilities, illness, mental health needs or frailty.

All donations, large or small are greatly appreciated and directly support carers in Blackpool who give so much of themselves every day.

The Wednesday Sunrise Support group have been working hard at Lytham Hall. They have been clearing leaves, Putting leaflets into bags which are then handed out and then they went on a walk around the grounds. Great work from everyone! Even from Ryan that tried being wrapped up as a Christmas Tree! 🤣🎄
