It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Earl Winston Deans.

Earl passed peacefully in the care of Blackpool Victoria Hospital on Tuesday July 14th 2026 aged 81 years.

A service of thanksgiving will take place at Bispham United Reformed Church, Cavendish Road, Bispham at 12noon on Tuesday 25th August followed by burial at Carleton Cemetery.

Family flowers only please.

Today we had the privilege of supporting our fellow family funeral directors in Wigan by providing a unique farewell for a true motorcycle enthusiast.

As a family-run funeral directors in Blackpool, it means a great deal to work alongside like-minded independent funeral homes, helping families create a service that truly reflects the life and passions of their loved one.

It was an honour to provide our bespoke motorcycle hearse, adding that little something different to a funeral that celebrated a life lived with a love of bikes. Every farewell should be as individual as the person being remembered, and we were proud to play a small part in making that possible.

🌞 As temperatures are set to reach 28°C, we're thinking of our furry friends too! 🐾💙

Just like us, our four-legged companions can find the heat challenging. That's why each of our funeral homes has a water station outside, so passing pups can stop by for a refreshing drink and stay hydrated on their walks.

Please remember to keep your pets cool, avoid walking them during the hottest part of the day, and always carry water if you're out and about.

No appointment necessary—wagging tails are always welcome! 🐶

Kyle King (Boat Crew) and Antony Harris (Launch Driver) pictured yesterday at the RNLI Lifeboat Station enjoying the glorious Blackpool sunshine.

Standing proudly beside our D Hollowell & Sons Massey Ferguson tractor which has a rather different role in transport services and the impressive tractor Antony operates for the launch and recovery of the RNLI lifeboats, it's amazing to see just how far technology has come over the years.
When asked which tractor he preferred to drive, Antony was tactfully keeping his options open!

On a more serious note, we are incredibly proud to work alongside the dedicated men and women of the RNLI. Their commitment, professionalism, and willingness to answer the call at any hour help keep our local community and visitors safe.
We are honoured to support and work alongside such a fantastic organisation and would like to thank Kyle, Antony, and all the RNLI crew for the vital work they do every day.
