The practice will be closed on the 19th of August from 14:00pm to 17:00pm for training.

The surgery will reopen from 17:00 pm to 18:30pm as usual. (08:00am to 14:00pm is normal service, including Sit & Wait.)

There will be an emergency number to call in the case of an emergency during these hours, this number will be available by the standard phone message on the day.

We still open @ 8am but first appointments won't be until 9:30am.

You are always welcome to ask for a telephone appointment, but please be aware that some presentations/problems may require attendance in person.

🌡️ Stay Safe in the Heat

Keep cool by staying in the shade or indoors, especially 11am–3pm.
Wear SPF 30+, light clothing, a hat & sunglasses, and drink plenty of water đź’§

Avoid alcohol and caffeine—they can dehydrate you.

🏠 Beat the Heat at Home

Close curtains in the day, open windows at night, and use fans if you have them.
Check on loved ones—especially older people, children & those living alone.
If you feel unwell, move somewhere cool and call NHS 111 (999 in emergencies).

Just to clarify, as we are emergency only there is no Sit & Wait clinic this week.
Sit & Wait will resume 01/06.

We are now EMERGENCY ONLY as we have no clinical system from this afternoon.

Usual service resumes 01/06.

As of 12pm today Online Services through the NHS APP will be temporarily disabled.

This feature will be turned back on the 28th of May.

If any patient finds themselves without medication over this period, please visit your Pharmacy for an 'Emergency Supply'. This is a scheme that all pharmacies in Wales run that will provide you as many tablets as you need to get you by until your next prescription.

We're a week away from our planned downtime when our practice will be transitioning to a new clinical system (between the dates of 20/05 and 01/06.

During this period, we will be operating an emergency‑only service, and there will be some unavoidable disruption to our usual processes.

We will also be unable to print prescriptions during this time, so we kindly ask patients to submit any repeat medication requests by this Friday 15/05 to avoid any delay in getting your usual medications.

Pharmacies in Wales operate the Emergency Supply scheme, this must be your first port of call if you have run out of any medication during this period. They will provide you with enough medication to tide you over until your next prescription.

We want to make patients aware that our practice will be transitioning to a new clinical system between 20 May and 1 June.

During this period, we will be operating an emergency‑only service, and there will be some unavoidable disruption to our usual processes. We will also be unable to print prescriptions during this time, so we kindly ask patients to submit any repeat medication requests as early as possible. Where appropriate, we will issue up to two months’ worth of medication in advance to ensure continuity of care.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete this important upgrade to improve our services.
