Lakeview Lodge care home in the Bletchley area of Milton Keynes provides residential and dementia care. The purpose-built care home features sixty-six ensuite bedrooms and bright, airy lounge and dining areas. The care team has built excellent connections with the local community and residents enjoy regular visits from schools and community groups. We get to know our residents individually and provide activities to enable them to continue to enjoy their hobbies and interests.

Monday our residents enjoyed a fantastic visit to Stockwood Discovery Centre in Luton!🌿🏛️

There was plenty to discover as everyone explored the impressive collection of Vauxhall cars, admired the beautifully old carriages, and took a step back in time.

It was a great opportunity to reminisce, learn something new, and share memories along the way. From motoring history to local stories, there was something to spark everyone's interest. 🚗✨

The residents had a fantastic day and ended the visit with a lovely ice-cream before making the journey home.🚍🏡

Our residents enjoyed getting creative, and having plenty of fun along the way. From colourful creations to plenty of smiles 😊 and laughter, it was lovely to see everyone expressing themselves and enjoying time together.🖍️

What a wonderful day out we had yesterday with our residents at Tring Museum 🦒🦋

Our residents enjoyed exploring the fascinating exhibits, reminiscing, sharing stories, and discovering the incredible collection of wildlife from around the world. 🌍
We finished our visit with a lovely 99 ice cream 🍦 before making our way home.
It was a day filled with smiles, laughter and great conversation.

Outings like these are a fantastic way to create new memories, stay active and enjoy time together.

This week, Bob’s special wish came true as he released racing pigeons once again which was a hobby he enjoyed with his father during his younger years in London.

We had the pleasure of hosting our Mocktails with the Manager afternoon last week 🍹🍸

Residents and families gathered outside to sample a delicious array of Mocktails accompanied by a wonderful spread courtesy of our kitchen team!

The afternoon was a lovely way for everyone to get to know our management team here at Lakeview whilst sipping away in the sunshine ☀️
