We all tried different flavoured ice tea. The verdict was that it had very little taste, however we enjoyed trying the fresh fruit slices. Lemon, orange and lime. Some funny faces were pulled but most really enjoyed the experience 🥰😋😝😵‍💫🍊🍋🍋‍🟩

June turns 100! 🎉🥳💃🕺 Photo time

Fantastic day celebrating her special centenary birthday. We had the pleasure of Lois Bibbins music entertaining us all by singing and getting everyone up and dancing. It was great to see everyone joining in, smiling, tapping their feet and having a good time.
Also a big thank you to Little Zammers and local children for their lovely cards made for June to help make her day so special. We hope this gives you a sense of how magical the day was 😍🥰.

Nice sensory activity today 🥰💐🌷🌻.
Together we admired and smelt various plants and flowers from the garden. One resident was able to tell me the name of each and every one of them, and I think you will agree this activity really brought a sparkle to her eye. She ended up telling me all about what her own garden was like.

What another beautiful afternoon in the garden! This time feeding the fish 🐠🐟 and enjoying an ice lolly.
We managed to encourage almost all of the residents outside which was fantastic to see and we enjoyed seeing them all smile.

Before it got too hot 🥵 some of the residents enjoyed spending the afternoon in the garden, keeping cool in the shade and having some lovely conversations about members of The Beatles and Cliff Richard. We really are lucky to have such beautiful grounds.
