🌒 Bolsover is in for an amazing view tomorrow evening!

The partial solar eclipse will begin at around 6:13pm on Wednesday 12th August. At its peak around 7:10pm approximately 91% of the Sun will be covered by the Moon, leaving a beautiful thin crescent visible.

The eclipse will gradually come to an end at around 8:04pm.

At Parker Opticians we want everyone to enjoy this special occasion while keeping their eyes protected. Ordinary sunglasses are not safe for viewing the eclipse. Use genuine undamaged eclipse glasses marked ISO 12312-2 or try an indirect method such as a pinhole projector.
