Earlier this year, the Age UK Greater Manchester Collective worked with Bee Network to lift restrictions on free bus travel for older people.

But we also believe being means catering for all ages - older and younger people included!

So we were excited to see Mayor of Greater Manchester announcing free bus travel for 11 to 16 year olds across the city region from January - right outside our office in Bolton.

We were joined by fellow charity leaders from Bolton Wanderers in the Community, BTCyp Hub and Youth Leads UK 🐝

A lovely afternoon at the Elderdale Centre, we are having a hearty chicken stew with buttery mash and peas, and afters are sticky toffee cake with ice cream. We are here every other Thursday, 1pm-3pm for food & friendship 😊

The Red Lane Growing Project - Breightmet will be holding its autumn event on Saturday 25th October between 2pm and 4pm. Tree spirits, hedgehog and autumn crafts,Face Painting, hot dogs, hot chocolate, and s'mores.
