1. Complaints Procedure

• A £50 booking fee is required to secure all appointments.
• Booking fees are non-refundable but will be deducted from the cost of treatment.
• If you provide less than 48 hours’ notic

e to cancel or reschedule, your booking fee will be retained.
• Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in the booking fee being forfeited in full to Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Clinic Ltd.
• Consultation fees are non-refundable but may be redeemed against the cost of treatment if you proceed.
• All treatment fees must be paid in full upon completion of treatment, before leaving the premises.
• Accepted payment methods: cash, card, bank transfer, or PayPal.
2. Late Arrivals
• Patients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to have their appointment rescheduled.
• In such cases, the booking fee will be forfeited.
3. Treatment & Consent
• A full medical consultation and consent form must be completed before treatment.
• By signing the consent form and commencing treatment, you enter into a contract with Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Clinic Ltd and are obliged to pay the agreed treatment fee in full.
4. Refund Policy
• Treatments are non-refundable once delivered as they are a medical service.
• Skincare or retail products are non-refundable once opened or used, in line with consumer law.
5. Medical Suitability & Right to Refuse Treatment
• All treatments are subject to medical assessment and may not be suitable for every patient.
• Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Clinic Ltd reserves the right to decline treatment if it is unsafe or not in the patient’s best interest.
6. Liability Disclaimer
• While every effort is made to ensure your safety, Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Clinic Ltd cannot accept liability for adverse reactions provided that accurate medical history was given and consent obtained prior to treatment.
7. Children & Under-18s
• Patients must be 18 years or over to receive aesthetic treatments.
• In exceptional circumstances, specific treatments (such as acne management or wart removal) may be offered to under-18s with parental consent and clinical agreement.
8. Patients who wish to raise a complaint should do so in writing to the clinic.
• A copy of our full Complaints Policy is available upon request.
9. Privacy Policy
• Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Clinic Ltd respects your privacy and complies with UK GDPR and Data Protection laws.
• Any personal or medical information collected will be stored securely and used solely for the purpose of your care, legal obligations, and clinical governance.

There’s a reason my clinic doesn’t feel like a typical clinic. 💜

For me, privacy and time are both luxuries – and I wanted my patients to have plenty of each.

Aesthetics can feel incredibly personal. You’re talking about things you may have felt self-conscious about for years, asking questions you might feel nervous asking, and trusting someone to give you an opinion about your face or skin.

That deserves more than a rushed appointment.

Having my purpose-built clinic at home means I can work in exactly the way I believe medical aesthetics should be practised: calmly, discreetly and with my full attention on the person sitting in front of me.

It was a very deliberate choice when I created Age With Elegance, and all these years later, it still feels like one of the best decisions I made. 💜

“How much is it?”

It’s one of the most common questions I receive — and it’s a completely reasonable one. 💜

But sometimes, before I can tell you what something will cost, we need to establish what you actually need.

You might message asking about filler because you’ve noticed a particular line or change in your face.

But when I assess you, I may think filler isn’t the best option at all.

I might recommend working on your skin quality or collagen instead. There may be another treatment that would better address what’s actually causing the concern. Or occasionally, I may recommend no treatment at all.

That’s why I’m sometimes reluctant to prescribe a treatment plan from a photograph or a couple of messages.

A proper consultation allows me to assess your face or skin, understand your concerns and expectations, consider your medical history and talk you through the options — including the costs — before you make any decisions.

You’re not coming to me simply to buy a treatment.
You’re coming to me for a professional assessment and advice.

So if you ask “How much is filler?” and I reply “I think we need to have a consultation first…” 😂

I’m not being difficult.

I’m doing my job.

Your age isn’t a treatment plan. 💜

It’s easy to see posts telling you what you should be doing to your skin in your 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond.

But skin doesn’t follow a birthday calendar.

Two people of exactly the same age can have completely different skin, lifestyles, concerns and goals – so why would I give them the same plan?

There are certainly things worth prioritising as we move through different stages of life, but they should always be a guide, never a prescription.

I’ll always assess the person sitting in front of me first.

Hello September 🍂

Autumn is approaching — and for me, that means we can start thinking a little differently about our skin.

But it doesn’t mean suddenly throwing every treatment and active ingredient at it.

After summer, you may be noticing pigmentation that wasn’t as obvious before, changes in texture, dryness or simply that your skin isn’t looking quite as healthy as you’d like.

And yes, autumn can be a brilliant time to start addressing some of those concerns.

But first?

We need to work out what’s actually going on.

That might mean adjusting your skincare.
It might mean introducing specific active ingredients.
It might mean a course of skin treatments.
Or it might mean doing very little at all.

And despite the darker mornings and cooler weather approaching, SPF doesn’t disappear from the routine either! 😉

The treatment comes after the assessment — not the other way around.

Because good skin isn’t about doing more.

It’s about doing the right things, for the right skin, at the right time. 💜

Some things are bigger than business. Bigger than social media. Bigger than anything we might normally post about.

Watching the devastating events unfolding in Nepal, and seeing the scale of human loss continue to grow, is incredibly difficult to comprehend.

Behind every statistic is a person. A family. People whose ordinary day became unimaginable in a matter of moments.

I talk a lot about ageing in my work — but events like this are a powerful reminder that growing older is not something any of us are promised.

Another birthday. Another year. Another ordinary day with the people we love.

They are privileges we can so easily take for granted.

Today, my thoughts are simply with the people of Nepal, those who have lost their lives, those who are still waiting for news, and every family whose world has changed forever. 🇳🇵🤍

A new treatment has to earn its place on my clinic menu.

I never add something simply because it’s new, trending or everybody suddenly seems to be offering it.

Before I introduce anything at Age With Elegance, I want to understand the evidence behind it, how it works, who it genuinely benefits and, importantly, where it fits alongside the treatments I already offer.

I’ll research it. I’ll train in it. I’ll ask questions. And where appropriate, I’ll experience it myself.

Because having a bigger treatment menu has never been the goal.

Having the right treatments, ones I genuinely believe can offer something valuable to my patients, is.

If I wouldn’t confidently recommend it to someone sitting in front of me, it doesn’t belong in my clinic. 💜

Anyone can write “aesthetics nurse” in an Instagram bio. But have you ever actually checked?

When you’re trusting somebody with your face, their social media following, beautiful clinic or impressive before-and-afters shouldn’t be the only things you look at.

If someone tells you they’re a nurse practising in the UK, you can check their professional registration yourself.

🔎 Search the NMC Register.

It’s public, it’s free, and it takes less than a minute.

But being a registered nurse is only one part of the picture.

A healthcare qualification doesn’t automatically tell you how much training or experience somebody has in medical aesthetics.

Before choosing a practitioner, I’d also want to know about their:

✓ Relevant aesthetics training and qualifications
✓ Experience in the treatment being considered
✓ Complications training
✓ Insurance
✓ Prescribing arrangements, where required
✓ Independent accreditation

You can also search the Save Face Register, where practitioners and clinics have undergone independent assessment against recognised standards for non-surgical cosmetic practice.

I’m very proud to be both an NMC Registered Nurse and Independent Nurse Prescriber, and Save Face Accredited — but I don’t expect you simply to take my word for it.

A practitioner should never become too experienced to be a student again. 💜

This week I’ve been back in training with mesoestetic, specifically learning more about mesohyal™ Skin Boosters, and how they can be incorporated into the individual skin rejuvenation plans I create for my patients.

For me, training isn’t about collecting certificates or adding another treatment to my menu simply because I can.

Before anything earns a place at Age With Elegance, I want to understand it properly. The science, the product, who it may benefit and how it complements the treatments I already offer.

The aesthetics and skin industry never stands still, and neither should the people working within it.

I absolutely love being the practitioner, but I still love being the student too.

There is always more to learn. 💜
