The family of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Barrie would like to take this opportunity to extend their sincere gratitude to all family, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of support and sympathy extended to them following the sad passing of Betty.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who paid their respects by attending Betty’s funeral service and donated so generously in her memory in aid of Strathcarron Hospice, raising a total of £173.

Sincere thanks to John P Fox for the beautiful and comforting service to commemorate Betty’s life.
Thank you to the staff at Falkirk Crematorium and Camelon Cemetery for their care and professionalism.
Many thanks to Betty at Forever Flowers for the beautiful, floral tributes, also thanks to Airth Bakery and the labour club for putting together a wonderful funeral tea.

Finally, the family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to the all the staff at Paul H. O’Connor Funeral Care for the support and guidance given, because it made such a difference to Betty’s loved ones during an incredibly difficult and emotional time.

Paul H. O’Connor Funeral Care respectfully announce the peaceful passing of Elizabeth “Betty”Coyle Barrie aged 75 years at FVRH on Thursday 6th August 2026.

Betty was the beloved wife of the late James Barrie, a devoted mother, gran, sister and auntie.
Betty was also a much loved neighbour & good friend of many.

We can now respectfully announce the funeral service to celebrate the life of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Coyle Barrie will take place at Falkirk Crematoriums service room on Monday the 24th of August 2026 at 12.15pm followed by the interment service at Camelon Cemetery at approximately 1pm, to which all family, friends and neighbours are respectfully invited.

Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu of floral tributes will be gratefully accepted on the day in aid of Strathcarron Hospice.

Betty’s family would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the unfaltering love and support that has been shown to them during this last week or so, because the kindness shown has helped them through this incredibly sad and difficult time.

The family of the late Beth Lapsely would like to take this opportunity to extend their sincere gratitude to all family, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of support and sympathy extended to them following the sad passing of Beth.

Paul H. O’Connor Funeral Care can now respectfully announce the funeral service to celebrate the life of the late Elizabeth “Beth” Lapsley will take place at Falkirk Crematorium on Friday the 17th of July 2026 at 11.30am, to which all family, friends and neighbours are respectfully invited.

The family have kindly asked anyone attending, to wear a splash of colour & for the ladies, some pink lippy as we know Beth wouldn’t have been seen without hers.

Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu of floral tributes will be gratefully accepted on the day in aid of Strathcarron Hospice.

The family of the late George Wilson would like to take this opportunity to extend their sincere gratitude to all family, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of support and sympathy extended to them following the sad passing of George. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who paid their respects by attending George’s Funeral Mass and donated so generously in his memory in aid of Autism Scotland, raising a total of £285.

Sincere thanks to Father Peter Shankland for the beautiful and comforting Mass to commemorate George’s life, also many thanks to the bereavement team at St. Francis Xavier Church.

Thank you to the staff at Camelon Cemetery for their care and professionalism, also to the Labour Club & Airth Bakery for the wonderful afternoon teas. Many thanks to Betty at Forever Flowers for the beautiful floral tributes, also a thanks to Tom Stewart for the soft laments on the bagpipes.

Beth was the beloved partner of the late Jim, a devoted mother to Gary, Sharon and Stuart.
A cherished gran to Linsey, Stephanie, Nathan, Dylan and Fletcher, A loving great gran to Lexi and Jaxon.
Beth was also a much loved sister, auntie, mother in law, neighbour & good friend of many.

Paul H. O’Connor, Funeral Care, can now respectfully announce that a Requiem Mass to celebrate the life of the late George Wilson will take place at St. Francis Xavier's R.C. Church on Tuesday, 7th July, 2026 at 10am, followed by the interment service at Camelon Cemetery at approximately 11:15am, to which all family, friends, and neighbours are respectfully invited.

The family would also like to invite everyone to Camelon Labour Club for refreshments following George's interment.

Family flowers only please, but donations, in lieu of floral tributes, will be gratefully accepted on the day in George’s memory in aid of Autism Scotland.

Paul H. O’Connor Funeral Care respectfully announce the peaceful passing of George Wilson, aged 65 years at F.V.R.H on Saturday, 20th June 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

George was the beloved husband of Emma, a cherished father of Ryan, a treasured brother of Jimmy and Tracey, an adored uncle of Terina and Martin.
George was also a much loved brother in law, uncle and cousin as well as a loving neighbour and a good friend of many.
