So what is IVF Lite? 💙

It's IVF using less medication, over less time. Fewer injections, and less waiting before egg collection. It's also our most affordable package at £2,950, though medication sits on top of that, so do ask for the full costing.

There are criteria. You'd need to be 37 or under, with a good egg reserve, and it needs to be your first cycle.

And one thing worth being upfront about. Less medication usually means fewer eggs, so fewer embryos and less to freeze. That's the trade-off, and it's why this suits some people and not others.

Is IVF your only option? Not always, and that's worth knowing before you start. 💙

If you've been trying for a while and it's taking longer than you expected, IVF isn't automatically the first step. For some people, there's a simpler place to start.

It's called IUI, and it's a straightforward procedure that places prepared s***m directly into the womb around the time of ovulation. Less involved than IVF, and for some situations, a sensible first step rather than a last resort.

Whether it's right for you depends on your own circumstances, which is exactly the sort of thing worth talking through properly rather than working out alone.

International IVF Day, wrapped. 💙

On 25th July 2026, we opened the doors of our new satellite clinic in Milton Keynes for a morning of honest talks and even more honest questions. Mr Alpesh Doshi, our Consultant Clinical Embryologist and Co-Founder, walked everyone through IVF, ICSI and fertility preservation, explained the way it should be, straight and simple. From 1pm to 3pm, our specialists sat down with anyone who wanted a mini consultation of their own.

What stayed with us most wasn't the talks themselves, it was how easily the questions came after. Nothing felt too small to ask, and nobody left without an answer.

To everyone who took the time to show up, whether you came with a specific question or just came to listen, thank you. And to our whole team for making the day feel this easy, well done.

On Thursday 13 August, 6:30 to 8pm, we're holding a Virtual Open Day on Zoom where you don't have to travel or wait in a room, you just log in from wherever you are. Can you actually go on holiday during IVF? ✈️

Honestly, it depends on the timing of your process more than anything else.

There's flexibility earlier on, but once monitoring starts, scans, bloods, egg collection, transfer, things get scheduled to the day. That's not really the stretch to plan a trip around.

Before you book anything, it's worth checking with your clinic on:
● Where you're at in your treatment
● Any upcoming monitoring dates
● Storing your medication as instructed by your fertility specialist
● Support nearby if you need it while away

The golden rule is simple: get guidance before your next move.

Embryo transfer, the moment every patient, clinician and embryologist waits for. 💙

It's the final step, placing the embryo we've created with so much care back where it belongs. And the part that surprises most people is that it’s usually a five-minute procedure, and in most cases, no sedation or anaesthesia is needed at all.

Your nurse will walk you through exactly what to expect beforehand, so nothing feels unfamiliar on the day.

Does IVF actually hurt? It's one of the most common questions we get, so let's actually break it down one by one today.

Injections are a quick sting, most people get used to them within a few days. Egg collection happens under sedation, so you won't feel it as it's happening. And the embryo transfer itself is usually quick and painless, similar to a smear test. Some cramping or bloating afterwards is normal, and it settles on its own.

Nobody tells you the small, practical stuff enough. So consider this us telling you.

Some questions come easily. 💙 Others sit quietly for months before anyone says them out loud.

Is it normal to still feel this way after a cycle that didn't work. Can we even bring up donor treatment, or building our family in our own way. Are we allowed to feel unsure about trying again, even after already having a child. Is this actually a fertility problem, or is it nothing at all.
