Strength, speed and flexibility - not just a muscles and joints thing, also a a nervous system thing.
Most people training hard are chasing physical adaptations without ever touching the layer that’s actually governing their output.
Your brain decides how much force your muscles produce. How far into a range of motion it will let you go. How fast you can move and react. Your muscles and joints are just doing what they’re told.
That tightness you feel isn’t always structural. In a lot of cases it’s your nervous system applying the brakes. Strength has a neural ceiling before it has a muscular one. Speed is brain and body communication as much as it is physical capacity.
Train hard without addressing this and you’re leaving performance on the table.
