Westfield Care & Nursing Home in Boston, Lincolnshire provides dementia care, residential care and nursing. Our highly trained carers and nurses get to know each resident and their family individually to provide the highest standards of person-centred care and support. The Wellbeing team provides daily activities from games and crafts to day trips and gardening. Westfield has thirty-five en-suite

bedrooms, a hair salon and several spacious and comfortable lounge and dining areas for residents to relax in the company of others. The catering team creates nutritious home-cooked meals to cater for all dietary needs and requirements.

Our employee of the Month for July is Eliana. Eliana used to be one of our carer's on day's then nights she now works in the kitchen as a kitchen assistant. Eliana is always happy to help people and goes way beyond what she should do.

This morning we had a lovely walk to Zion Methodist Church, Boston coffee morning. We were made very welcome and our lovely Tony enjoyed talking to the ladies who we sat with. It is so good to be out in the community. We believe just because our residents are in a care home they don't have to stop going out and doing things they enjoy.

We can't tell you how happy we were to see their eyes light up as they listened to the beautifully chosen and performed pieces of music.

Today we had a make a wish. Our lovely Tony went to Cadwell Park to watch the motor bike racing. Tony said he had the best day for a long time. A big thank you to Anna our administrator for making this happen by taking us and bringing us back home.
