Mr Khan is an experienced General and Vascular Surgeon with 17 years of clinical experience as a Consultant Surgeon and is listed on the GMC Specialist Register. Mr Khan currently works at East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust and also has practicing privileges at Boston West Hospital, Boston and The Fitzwilliam Hospital, Peterborough. The General Medical Council (GMC) defines a ‘good doctor’ as some
one in whom “patients are able to trust with their lives and health.” Mr Khan provides a professional clinical service of a high standard that endeavors to encompass these principals. Patients are his first concern, with dignity and confidentiality being maintained whilst striving to achieve the best outcomes for his patients. Mr Khan’s special interests include endovenous laser therapy (EVLT), Veinwave, and sclerotherapy for the treatment of varicose veins and thread veins. In 2008 he pioneered the use of laser treatment for varicose veins within the Boston area and has performed over 1000 EVLT procedures. He has a keen interest in laparoscopic surgery (keyhole surgery) and prides himself in performing the majority of hernia and gallbladder procedures using this minimally invasive technique.
