The Team-Centred Approach
One of the standout moments at yesterday's Centaur Biomechanics Equine Sports Science Summit at Hartpury University was seeing a team of world-renowned professionals work hands-on with the horses, demonstrating how each discipline complements, informs and supports the others.
Horse welfare is never about one profession working in isolation. It’s about collaboration, communication and bringing different expertise together to achieve the best possible outcome for the horse.
The summit was exceptionally well organised and thoughtfully put together, bringing the science to life through practical, real-time demonstrations that showed exactly how theory translates into practice.
A fantastic example of why a multi-modal, team-centred approach should be at the heart of equine care. Because when professionals work together, with the horse firmly at the centre of every decision, everyone benefits — especially the horse. 🐴
