🌟 It’s been a fantastic few days at Kingfishers 🌟

We’ve been keeping busy with lots of fun, laughter and activities❤️

We put our knowledge to the test with some fun quizzes, with plenty of friendly competition along the way.

🎉 We also enjoyed a lively game of bingo, complete with some fabulous prizes🏆

🗞️ Geoff enjoyed getting out and about to pick up his paper, and while he was out, decided to head down to the marina too⚓️🌊 A lovely little trip and a chance to enjoy some fresh air and a change of scenery.

🎯 We had fun playing a bean bag game, putting our aim to the test.

🎬 We then settled down for a relaxing movie afternoon, complete with plenty of cosy vibes. 🍿😊

Another few days filled with smiles, laughter, activities and making wonderful memories together💕✨

💪✨ Fitness with Heena at Kingfishers✨💪

Our residents enjoyed another fantastic fitness session with Heena, trying a variety of different exercises to keep their bodies moving and stay supple.

Regular exercise can bring so many benefits, including improved mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and overall wellbeing. Most importantly, it’s a great way to have fun, build confidence, and enjoy being active together. 😊

At Kingfishers, we believe staying active is for everyone, and we love encouraging our residents to move in ways that feel enjoyable and achievable. 🌟

A lovely day of activities and community fun💃🎶

This morning we enjoyed some gentle exercise in the cinema room, moving along to some great music. 🎵 We also took a little trip out into our lovely community and picked up the newspaper. 📰

This afternoon, we’ve been getting creative and making feather fans in preparation for our fabulous 1920s party🎩🪶 We’re certainly getting into the spirit of the Roaring Twenties✨

Geoff enjoyed using the activity table today, supporting engagement, concentration and independence while having fun📱😊

The ladies enjoyed a lovely pamper session with hairdressing and nails, helping promote relaxation, confidence and self-esteem. 💇‍♀️💅💕

🎉🎂💐 Celebrating 99 Wonderful Years of Anne 💐🎂🎉

What an amazing and emotional celebration we had at Kingfishers yesterday, as we came together to celebrate Anne’s 99th birthday ❤️

Surrounded by family, residents and staff, Anne’s special day was filled with love, laughter and some very special touches. Beautiful flowers, a gorgeous birthday cake and handmade birthday cards lovingly created by our residents made the celebration even more meaningful. 🌸🎁💌

What a fantastic weekend of fun and exercise 😎😊

Our residents have been getting involved in group exercises, enjoying plenty of movement, smiles and a real feel-good boost 💪👏

We really enjoyed balloon tennis 🎈🎾 Lots of laughs, plenty of movement and some great teamwork.

It’s been a weekend full of activity, laughter and keeping those bodies moving🏀🥎💃🕺

We’ve had another lovely day filled with fun and laughter😊

🗞️ Geoff enjoyed a morning outing to pick up his newspaper and enjoy some fresh air.

🏅🏅 We had a fantastic afternoon of bingo, with plenty of smiles and friendly competition.

🧠 Our morning quiz also got everyone thinking and putting their knowledge to the test.
