🎶 Music Monday! 🎶
We’ve had a wonderfully lively Music Monday this morning — and it wasn’t just about singing and dancing! 💃🕺
Our residents got active with a fun game of musical stepping stones, before working together to pass a large exercise ball between us using our hands, feet and even our knees! ⚽️👏
We put our coordination to the test by rolling coloured balls onto the correct coloured squares, followed by a very competitive race to see who could remove all the clothes pegs from the elastic exercise band first! 😄🏆

Meanwhile, LM enjoyed completing a matching letter game, putting memory and concentration skills to the test. 🔤🧠

A fantastic morning filled with movement, laughter, teamwork and plenty of fun! ❤️

What a wonderful Friday we've had! 🍓🍫🎶

We started the morning by preparing a delicious afternoon treat, dipping fresh strawberries in chocolate before placing them in the fridge to chill. Residents enjoyed getting involved, and the homemade treats were well worth the wait!

Next came our popular Funky Friday Bingo. Congratulations to PN, who won the line, and to NW & VH, who jointly won the full house! Everyone was delighted to choose some tasty sweets as their prizes. 🍬

There was plenty of laughter as PN and GN enjoyed batting balloons using our foam batons, encouraging gentle exercise, coordination, and lots of smiles. 🎈

To round off the morning, the lounge was filled with the wonderful music of Daniel O'Donnell. Residents sang along to their favourite songs, shared happy memories, and even enjoyed a few dances together, creating a lovely atmosphere for everyone. 💃🕺❤️

It's been another day full of fun, friendship, music, and meaningful moments.

This afternoon, we enjoyed a fun and relaxing exercise session using our foam batons and balloons, encouraging movement, coordination and plenty of smiles. We finished with some gentle chair yoga and calming breathing exercises while listening to soothing music, leaving everyone feeling refreshed and relaxed. 🎶

There was also lots of excitement as residents looked through photos and heard stories from our manager Priya's wedding celebrations last night. Everyone loved seeing the beautiful saris, vibrant colours and hearing all about the special evening. It sparked plenty of lovely conversations and happy memories.

CR was also absolutely thrilled to receive some more classic car magazines, spending time looking through them and reminiscing about some of her favourite vehicles.

This morning we got creative with a fun finger painting session! 🎨🖐️ We explored painting both horizontally and vertically, experimenting with a variety of bright colours to create our own unique masterpieces. It was a wonderful sensory activity that encouraged creativity, self-expression, and plenty of smiles along the way.

We also enjoyed making a special birthday card for one of our lovely staff members, filling it with kind wishes and colourful designs. 🎉💐
Soft music played gently throughout the lounge, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere, while room visits gave us the opportunity to enjoy one-to-one chats. We spent time talking about the weather, the birds we had seen, and sharing memories and stories inspired by nature.

A lovely morning full of creativity, conversation, and connection. ❤️

This morning, VH and LM enjoyed a lovely stroll down to the village church coffee morning, where they treated themselves to a slice (or two!) of delicious cake while enjoying a catch-up with the local community. ☕🍰

After returning home, the fun continued with some ball games, bringing plenty of smiles, laughter, and gentle exercise to round off a wonderful morning together. 💙

What a fantastic Friday we've had! 🎶💃

This morning, we had the pleasure of DG treating us to some wonderful jazz music on the keyboard, creating a lovely atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

We also celebrated our wonderful manager, Priya, ahead of her wedding. We presented her with a wedding card and a cash gift to help her and her soon-to-be husband set up their new home together. There was plenty of confetti, smiles, and congratulations as the celebration music played. We wish them both a lifetime of love and happiness! 💍❤️

To round off the day, we enjoyed a game of Funky Friday, starter by everyone getting their groove on to the Cha Cha Slide! Congratulations to DG, who won the line, and TG, who won the full house—both choosing some tasty sweets as their prizes. 🍬

A wonderful day filled with music, laughter, celebrations, and lots of fun!
