From 23rd July there will be road disruption due to planned Gas Works.
The main project is scheduled to commence on Thursday, 23 July 2026.
The work is extensive and is planned to run across five phases lasting a total of nine weeks.
Affected Areas: Alongside North Street, works will also impact Abbey Road, St Gilbert's Road, and Exeter Street.

We need some help from locals please. Our medical students from Cambridge University usually stay in a local hotel on weeknights during their 6 week placement with us. The hotel we usually use is no longer available at the end of August.
We can see some options for rentals on AirBnB and Booking.com in walking distance from the practice but before booking we really need to speak to the owner or letting agent, it is an unusual booking and the university need any rental to be risk assessed before they will agree to it.
Do any of our locals know who the owners of rentals are please and would be kindly get in touch with Dr Mitchell or Dr Cregor?
