Set on the Dorset coast in Highcliffe, a short stroll from the clifftop, Highcliffe Nursing Home offers a restful setting for nursing, dementia and residential care. Large, comfortable communal areas are equipped with plenty of comfortable chairs and large flat screen televisions, and residents have independent access to a secure landscaped garden. We actively encourage those who are considering living at Highcliffe to visit and spend some time with us to gain an accurate perception of the care we offer. You are invited to come for lunch or just for a look round the property. Staff are around at all times of the day and they will be happy to give you a guided tour and answer your questions. If you would like a discussion with the manager, then an appointment can always be made.

Eyes down for a full house! 👀

Last week we enjoyed playing one of our favourite games - Bingo! We also enjoyed a selection of prizes, with everyone hoping to be the lucky one to shout "Bingo!" first. The atmosphere was wonderfully tense as we waited to see who'd take home one of our lovely prizes.

A fun-filled afternoon enjoyed by all! 🎉

We had a fantastic afternoon with Wendy and her two Alpacas - Guinness and Casper.

They were extremely well-behaved and toured the whole home visiting residents in their rooms, in the lounge and spent some time in the garden. Some people had never seen an Alpaca up close before, so they really enjoyed the experience.

🎶 We marked VJ Day with our residents, taking time to remember and reflect.

The afternoon was filled with cherished memories, beloved wartime music, gentle crafts, and plenty of singing along to songs that hold a special place in so many hearts.

It was a beautiful opportunity to share stories, celebrate memories, and honour the past together with warmth, respect and gratitude. 💜

We had such a wonderful time when Stephen Christopher came to sing! 🎶🎤

The afternoon was full of singing, dancing and toe-tapping, with an amazing atmosphere that filled the room. There were smiles all round, lovely melodies, and that special warmth you only get when our residents come together to enjoy good music and great company.

🧩🍦 Our residents enjoyed a lovely day filled with fun, focus, and a breath of fresh seaside air.

With the help of Carole from our Activities Team, residents spent time putting together a variety of puzzles.

Later in the day, Oksana took Peter out for a relaxing walk, where they enjoyed a delicious ice cream while taking in the beautiful sea views. 🍦🌊

👧🎶💜 Jackie and the ABC Children paid us another lovely visit, and as always, they brought plenty of smiles with them!

Our home was filled with giggles, singing, and happy chatter as the children spent time with our residents in the lounge before popping in to visit those in their rooms too.

A huge thank you to Jackie and all the ABC Children for another wonderful morning. We always love having you here and can't wait to see you all again soon! 💜

🛒☀️ Carole and Sue from our Activities Team took Estelle and Tessa on a stroll to the local Tesco Express, where they enjoyed choosing their favourite fresh fruit to add to the shopping basket.
