Parenting doesn't come with a spare 3 hours a day for implementing every piece of advice you see online.

And yet...

When your child is struggling with something, you want to help.

You want to support them.

You want to give them the tools they need.

But sometimes the thought of adding another technique, another activity or another routine to your already-full day feels overwhelming.

That's exactly why I'm creating my children's hypnotherapy audio range.

Because sometimes supporting your child can be as simple as:

Press play.

Whether they're struggling with school worries, confidence, bedtime, anxiety, relaxation or something else entirely.

I want these audios to give children simple tools they can come back to again and again, without creating another job for you.

And because every child is different, I'm creating different audios for different ages, needs and challenges.

I'm getting them ready now and I'm SO excited to share them with you. 🤍

Follow along if you'd like to know when they're available.

And tell me:

What's something you wish your child had a little more support with right now? 👇

You’re reassuring your anxious child.

But you might be accidentally feeding the anxiety.

Before you panic, I’m NOT saying you shouldn’t reassure your child.

Of course you should comfort them.

If your child is scared, worried or upset, telling them “you’re okay, I’m here” is not a bad thing.

The problem is when reassurance becomes the only way they know how to deal with anxiety.

It can look like this:

“I’m worried about school.”

“You’ll be fine.”

“But what if something happens?”

“It won’t.”

“But are you sure?”

“Yes.”

“Really?”

And then five minutes later…

“Are you SURE?”

Sound familiar?

The reassurance works for a moment, but the worry comes back.

So your child learns:

I feel anxious → I need someone to tell me everything is okay → I feel better.

And next time the anxiety shows up, they need that reassurance again.

And again.

What we want to build alongside reassurance is something much more useful:

“I feel worried, AND I know how to handle that feeling.”

That might mean helping them name the worry, notice what their body is doing, breathe, ground themselves, challenge the scary thought or simply learn that they can feel anxious without needing someone else to make the feeling disappear.

So please don't read this as “stop reassuring your child.”

It’s more:

Comfort them. Absolutely.
But give them tools too.

Because eventually, we want them to be able to calm the worry even when you’re not standing right beside them.

If your child struggles with anxiety, my Children’s Hypnotherapy Guide is a good place to start. And if you’re new here, follow along. I’m making this stuff practical and easy to understand, because parenting an anxious child is hard enough without having to decipher a load of psychology jargon. 🤍

What if…?

What if I can’t sleep?
What if something happens?
What if you don’t come back?
What if everyone laughs at me?
What if…?

If your child seems to have a 'what if?' for everything, you might be seeing worry and anxiety showing up in everyday life.

And it doesn’t always look like obvious anxiety.

Sometimes it looks like:

• asking the same question over and over
• needing constant reassurance
• struggling to settle at bedtime
• worrying about things that haven’t happened yet
• needing to know exactly what’s going to happen
• getting tummy aches or feeling funny when they’re worried

As a hypnotherapist, teacher and parent of three, I see how easy it is to think, “They just need reassurance.”

But sometimes the goal isn’t to answer every what if?

It’s helping your child learn what to do when the worry shows up.

That’s one of the reasons I’m creating children’s hypnotherapy audios — simple tools children can use to practise feeling calmer, building confidence and managing worries.

If you’re raising a child who has a million what ifs, you’re definitely in the right place. ❤️

Hot take: you cannot reassure anxiety away.

I know. Because when your child is anxious, what do we automatically do?

“You’ll be fine.”
“There’s nothing to worry about.”
“I promise it’ll be okay.”

Of course we do. We want them to feel better.

But reassurance can become a bit of a cycle.

They feel anxious.
They come to you for reassurance.
You reassure them.
They feel better for a little while.
The worry comes back.
So they need reassurance again.

And again.

The problem is, they’re not learning what to do with the anxious feeling. They’re learning that they need someone else to make it feel better.

We don’t need to convince children that nothing bad will ever happen. We can’t promise them that anyway.

What we CAN do is help them understand what anxiety feels like, what their brain and body are doing, and give them tools to manage it when it shows up.

Because anxiety itself isn’t the enemy.

We all feel anxious sometimes.

The goal is for your child to be able to think:

“I feel worried right now, but I know what to do.”

That’s the bit we want to build. 🤍

Save this one for the next time you find yourself saying, “But I’ve already told you there’s nothing to worry about!” 😂

I made this because I know exactly what it's like to be the parent wondering:

"Okay, but what does children's hypnotherapy actually involve?" 😂

When it's your child, you want to understand what you're considering before you jump in.

So rather than expecting you to disappear down a rabbit hole of Google searches, I've put together a free Parent Guide answering some of the questions I think you're probably going to have.

What is children's hypnotherapy?

How does it work?

What does a child actually experience?

What sort of things can it support?

And what about hypnotic audios?

I've pulled it all together in one place.

It's straightforward, it's designed specifically for parents and carers, and it's completely free.

📖 You can grab your copy via the link in my bio.

And once you've read it, if you still have questions?

Ask me.

Honestly, I'd much rather you asked me than spent three hours Googling children's hypnotherapy at midnight and ended up somewhere completely bizarre.

This is just the beginning of what I'm creating for children and families.

And I'm so excited to have you here for it. 💚

If you’re constantly trying to stop the behaviour, you can miss the reason it’s happening in the first place.

A child who is refusing school might not be “being difficult.”

A child who is melting down over something tiny might not be “overreacting.”

A child who suddenly becomes clingy, angry, tearful or unable to settle at bedtime might be communicating something they don’t yet have the words to explain.

And this is one of the things I love about working with children.

As a teacher AND a children’s hypnotherapist, I look beyond the behaviour.

Because before we can expect a child to change how they’re behaving, we need to understand what’s happening underneath it.

Is it worry?
Fear?
Overwhelm?
A lack of confidence?
A busy little brain that doesn’t know how to switch off?

Once you understand what’s driving the behaviour, you can start giving a child the tools to respond differently.

And that’s where things can really start to change. 🤍

This is exactly what I’ll be sharing here, practical ways to understand children’s emotions, anxiety, worries, confidence and big feelings, without turning every difficult moment into a battle.

Follow along if you want to understand the why behind your child’s behaviour, and learn what you can actually do about it.

Save this one too. You never know when you’ll need the reminder.

So, now you know who I am

Here's what I'm actually doing with all of this. 👀

I'm building a whole new side of my business around children's emotional wellbeing and children's hypnotherapy.

And I'm VERY excited about it.

I'm creating a growing library of hypnotic audios for children, starting with some short five-minute audios that families can access for free on YouTube.

There'll be audios around anxiety, confidence, school worries, sleep, big feelings and relaxation, and I'll keep adding to the library as I create more.

I'm also creating resources for the adults supporting those children, because let's be honest

Sometimes knowing *how* to help is half the battle.

That's why I've created my free Parent Guide, too.

And yes, I am still working with adults. 😂

I love that side of my work and I'm not giving it up.

But this new direction?

It brings together my experience as a mum, a teacher and a hypnotherapist in a way that feels completely right.

And I'm only just getting started.

So if you're interested in children's emotional wellbeing, children's hypnotherapy or simply want some extra tools in your parenting toolbox

Stick around.

There's plenty more coming. 💚

I think I've finally figured out why this feels so right. 💚

For years, I've had three huge parts of my life:

I'm a mum of 3.
I'm a primary school teacher.
And I'm a hypnotherapist.

And now I'm bringing all three together.

Because I've seen children's worries from every angle.

I've seen them as a mum, when you would quite happily take the worry away from your child and carry it yourself if you could.

I've seen them in the classroom, when you can see a child struggling but know that sometimes what's going on underneath is so much bigger than the thing they've actually said.

And I've learned how powerful our minds can be through my work as a hypnotherapist.

So this next chapter feels BIG.

I'm creating a growing library of children's hypnotic audios, sharing practical ideas around children's emotional wellbeing, and talking about the things parents are actually dealing with:

✨ Anxiety and worries
✨ Confidence and self-belief
✨ School worries
✨ Sleep and bedtime
✨ Big feelings
✨ Relaxation
✨ And all of the wonderfully complicated stuff that comes with being a child.

And I'm ridiculously excited about it.

Because imagine being able to give a child another tool to help them feel calmer, more confident and more able to handle what's going on inside their heads.

That's what I want to explore here.

I'll be sharing what I'm learning, what I'm creating, what works, what I'm discovering as I go, and plenty of honest conversations about supporting children's emotional wellbeing.

So if you're a parent, carer, teacher or simply someone who cares about helping children thrive...

I'd absolutely love for you to stick around.

There's a lot coming. 💚

And quite honestly, I can't wait. ✨️

If you're here looking for ways to help your child, you're already doing something important.

Children don't need perfect parents.

They need parents who keep showing up with love, patience and a willingness to understand.

And that's exactly what you're doing.
