We’re a group of experienced NHS GPs with long experience of helping local people in the Bournemouth and Poole area. We’ve set up a private GP service because it gives us the opportunity to offer patients the kind of GP service we believe in. The Dorset Private GP service is based at the Westcliff Health clinic in the Poole Road Medical Centre building, Bournemouth. We also have on site a pharmacy, private children’s therapy team, adult physiotherapy, chiropractic and osteopathy services, which we can refer patients to.

CERVICAL SCREENING 🌸

In light of the NHS home testing cervical screening campaign, we wanted to gently remind our female patients of our Cervical Screening service’s.

One of the leading causes for missing these appointment types, is NHS clinic times not fitting in with a busy working lifestyle. Cervical Screenings are conducted throughout the week at DPGP, at a time that works best for patients.

Within a 20 minute consultation with a female clinician, patients have the choice of two types of tests;

• Option 1 - HPV Testing (routinely offered by the NHS)
• Option 2 - HPV testing and Cytology (checking of the cells)
