This month, we are taking a moment to recognise the importance of men's health and wellbeing, including mental health.

Too often, men can feel pressure to keep going, carry on and face challenges alone. Yet stress, loneliness, anxiety, grief and life's many responsibilities can affect anyone, regardless of age or circumstance.

A simple conversation, a friendly phone call or checking in on someone can make more of a difference than we realise.

💙 Tea & Tech – Thank You 💙

A big thank you to the students and staff from St Patrick’s Academy who joined us today for our first Tea & Tech session.

It was such a lovely morning, very relaxed, lots of chats, a few/ laughs, and a great atmosphere all around. The students were fantastic and brought such a positive energy to the room. thank you Niamh for organising them all so well, it really made a difference.

We also want to offer special thanks to the lovely Cecilia, a lovely member of the community who joined us today, and it was great to see her, to listen and learn from her. It was great to see the interaction and connection between generations, exactly what this initiative is about.

We really appreciated the opportunity to gather feedback and ideas from the students on how we can continue to develop these sessions going forward.

This is just the beginning for Tea & Tech, and we’re looking forward to running more sessions over the coming months and building something really positive within our local community.

🌟 Community Event Announcement – Tea & Tech 🌟

A1 Care Lisburn is delighted to announce our first Tea & Tech community event taking place this Thursday 30th April, from 11:30-1:00PM, at our office on Castle Street, Lisburn.

This free local event is designed to bring generations together in a warm and friendly setting, offering senior members of our community practical support with everyday technology while enjoying a cup of tea and refreshments.
