What a fantastic afternoon of music and memories!

We welcomed Tyler James Entertainment for a wonderful live performance featuring timeless classics from Matt Monro, Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé, Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond and more.

Residents sang along to their favourites, danced, clapped and enjoyed plenty of happy memories along the way.

Nan said, “It was a wonderful afternoon. I loved singing and dancing along to the songs!” while James shared, “The music brought back so many happy memories.”

A huge thank you to Tyler James Entertainment, and to Hazel, Nan, James and Dawn for helping choose such a wonderful selection of songs. ❤️

🍦🌈 We had a fantastic time celebrating National Ice Cream Day at Avon Cliff!

Our residents embraced the occasion by dressing up as cheerful ice cream sellers, serving up colourful cones and bowls to our team and visiting families 😄🍨

A wonderful day on the water for Avon Cliff residents! ⛵☀️

Residents enjoyed a scenic Friends of the Dolphin boat trip from Poole Quay, cruising past Hamworthy, Sandbanks and Brownsea Island while making the most of the sunshine and fresh sea air.

The day ended perfectly with a relaxing lunch at The Quay Café, where everyone shared their favourite moments from a fantastic outing.

A wonderful afternoon of music and memories at Avon Cliff! 🎶

Residents enjoyed a cheerful disco session with favourite songs, soft disco lights and plenty of smiles. It was lovely to see everyone joining in, from clapping along to singing and gently dancing.

A beautiful afternoon filled with laughter, connection and joy.

🌈 Residents and team members from Avon Cliff were proud to join this year's Bourne Free Pride parade, celebrating equality, diversity and community while honouring the memory of their dear friend and former resident, Patrick.

Patrick was a familiar face at Bourne Free for many years, and this year's parade was a chance to remember his love of the event. As resident Edie said, "Patrick would've been so happy today" ❤️

With music, dancing and plenty of rainbow colours, it was a wonderful day filled with smiles, laughter and cherished memories.

Avon Cliff had a lovely National Picnic Day celebration 🧺🎶

We started with a fun picnic-themed quiz, followed by an afternoon “indoor picnic” with tea in fine china and live music from Bee Chumley. There was plenty of singing and dancing too!

Our creative team marked the start of the World Cup by designing their own football kits ⚽🎨

Residents chose countries that were important to them, shared stories and memories, then created shirts inspired by everything from fish and chips to maple leaves. The finished designs were full of colour and personality. 👕
