“Do you offer Myofascial Massage?”

This is one of the most common questions I’ve been asked since introducing Fascial Release Therapy.

While I do use myofascial techniques within my massage treatments, Fascial Release is actually a completely different treatment.

A myofascial massage uses massage techniques to work through the fascia and surrounding tissues.

Fascial Release Therapy doesn’t involve traditional massage. Instead, sustained pressure is applied and held at specific points throughout the body, allowing restrictions within the fascia to release on a much deeper level.

In my experience, Fascial Release provides many of the same benefits people are looking for from a myofascial massage—reduced pain, improved movement, less tension and greater flexibility—but often goes much further.

It’s become one of the most powerful treatments I offer, helping clients release long-held restrictions and restore balance throughout the body.

So if you’ve been thinking about booking a myofascial massage, it might be worth exploring Fascial Release instead. 💚

Fascial Release and Myofascial Massage are NOT the same thing 💫

This is something I get asked about a lot, because people often assume Fascial Release is just a “normal massage” that focuses on fascia… but it’s actually very different.

A myofascial massage usually works on top of the fascia using massage techniques, pressure, movement and manipulation to help loosen tightness and tension in the muscles and connective tissue.

Fascial Release works in a much deeper and more neurological way.

Rather than “working” the tissue like a massage, Fascial Release listens to the body and follows the restrictions being held within the fascia itself. The fascia is a full-body connective tissue network that stores stress, trauma, emotions, posture patterns, protection responses and physical tension.

During treatment, the body often begins to unwind naturally as restrictions release. This is why people sometimes experience:
✨ Emotional releases
✨ Memories surfacing
✨ Deep relaxation
✨ Heat or energy shifts
✨ Changes in posture, pain or movement

It’s gentle, but incredibly powerful.

You’re not just having tight muscles rubbed…
You’re allowing the body to let go of patterns it may have been holding onto for years.

That’s why Fascial Release can feel completely different to a massage — because the body is responding from the inside out 🤍

If you’ve had a Fascial Release treatment with me before, I’d love for you to comment below and share your experience or thoughts on how it felt for you 🫶

✨ Real words. Real results. Real release. ✨

These testimonials say it better than I ever could…

Fascial release isn’t just about easing tight muscles — it’s about unlocking what your body has been holding onto for far too long. Pain, tension, stress, emotions… they all live within the fascia. And when it finally starts to soften and let go, everything can begin to shift.

Clients often tell me they feel:
💫 Lighter
💫 Calmer
💫 More “themselves” again
💫 Free in a way they haven’t felt in years

If your body has been whispering (or shouting) for attention… this is your sign to listen.

You don’t have to keep carrying it.

If something in you feels tired… or ready… or simply curious…you’re so welcome here 🤍

Fascial Release

Bodywork therapy that focuses on releasing tension and restrictions in the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, organs, and bones - helping to release trigger points (knots in the fascia), improve flexibility and range of motion, reduce pain, and enhance circulation.

After a fascial release treatment, it’s normal for the body to continue processing and adjusting. Some people experience what are often called healing surges — temporary changes as the body releases tension and rebalances.

This is a natural response as your system integrates the work and lets go of stored tension patterns.

You might notice:
✨ Feeling very relaxed or unusually tired
✨ Emotional waves or unexpected feelings
✨ Needing to cry for “no reason”
✨ Mild soreness or tenderness
✨ Headaches
✨ Needing to drink more water
✨ Changes in sleep or vivid dreams
✨ A sense of lightness or clarity
✨ Deep relaxation over the following days

These sensations usually pass within a day or two and can be a sign that the body is integrating the work. Gentle rest, hydration and kindness to yourself can really help during this time.

Sometimes we can feel worse before we feel better — this can be part of the body’s natural processing. Try not to judge the experience after just one session.

Stick with it and trust the process 💫
Healing doesn’t always happen overnight 💞

“The body remembers what the mind forgets.”

✨ Feel Lighter in Your Body. Calmer in Your Mind. ✨

Sometimes we carry things long after the moment has passed — stress, grief, trauma, old emotions — stored quietly within the body. You might not always remember the event, but you may still feel the tension, tightness, or heaviness it left behind.

Have you ever felt tension in your body that just won’t seem to shift — no matter how much you stretch or rest?

Fascia is the connective tissue that weaves through your entire body, and it can hold onto these patterns over time. When it becomes tight or restricted, it can leave you feeling stuck physically and emotionally — without always knowing why.

Fascial release is a gentle, supportive treatment that helps your body soften and let go at its own pace. Many people experience a sense of lightness, relief, or deep relaxation as their body begins to release what it no longer needs to hold.

This is your time to slow down and reconnect with your body.

You don’t have to carry it all forever.
Your body is allowed to let go.
