Helmets, hoops, and classic tunes made for a memorable afternoon with Yvette! 🎶✨
​Our latest Music, Movement, and Fun session took a trip down memory lane with uplifting wartime classics. Residents even donned helmets to get into the full spirit of the era before jumping into gentle mobility exercises with colourful hoops.
​To wrap up the fun, everyone picked up tambourines and bells to turn the room into a full live band! 🔔🥁
​"That was fun this afternoon!" — Rosemary, who had a great time singing along alongside her daughter.
​Even Daphne, who got back late from a day out, managed to catch the tail end of the excitement: "It’s a pity I missed so much—but also good going out!"
​Thank you to Yvette for another fantastic visit that brought so many smiles, movement, and music to our home! ❤️

A lovely gesture from Sumi brightened everyone’s week at the home! 💐

​After missing her visit earlier this week, Sumi Thayan, owner of KingsleyHealthcare kindly sent over a stunning bouquet of flowers to let the residents know she was thinking of them. To make sure everyone could appreciate the blooms, the residents got together to arrange them into beautiful centerpieces for all the dining tables.
​What the Residents Had to Say
​Morffy: "What beautiful flowers!" (a sentiment echoed by everyone in the room).
​Daphne: Highlighted what a great idea it was to display them in the dining room so everyone gets to enjoy them throughout the day. Daphne enjoyed taking the trolley round to all the units placing the little arrangements on all the tables 🌼 🌸.
​Richard: "I enjoyed arranging those!"
​The arrangement team was so efficient that almost every single flower and stem of greenery was used—with just one blossom and a bit of foliage left over, which was added to another large display.
​Thank you so much, Sumi! The flowers look absolutely lovely, and your thoughtful gesture brought so many smiles to the home. 💕🌸

Community Spotlight: Brackley Does It Again! 🌸🍯
​If there’s one community we’re endlessly proud to be a part of, it’s Brackley. Whenever something needs doing, this town simply steps up and makes it happen.
​We recently hosted a special luncheon for VIP guests, and everything needed to be top-tier, beautiful, and strictly LOCAL. Our amazing community delivered in full force:
​🐝 Local Honey & Bespoke Treats: Huge thanks to Simon from Bees n Business for helping us harvest honey straight from our very own beehive! And a massive shoutout to Mark at Brackley Kitchen Delicatessen, who stepped in at the very last minute to craft bespoke, pistacchio-infused chocolate bars for our guests.
​💐 Stunning Floral Displays: The gorgeous floral arrangements which brought colour and elegance to all corners of m by the lovely Katherine from The Flower Pot. Absolutely breathtaking work!
​It takes a village, and we happen to think ours is the absolute best. Thank you to everyone who made this event so unforgettable!

Smiles, concentration, and a whole lot of friendly competition on our Rainbow Suite! 🌈✨
​Our residents had a brilliant afternoon diving into games and puzzles, and the energy in the room was fantastic. The ping pong challenge definitely brought out everyone's secret aiming skills! 🏓
​Sheila was landing shot after shot into the egg boxes, and Jill even managed some incredible trick shots, stacking ping pong balls right on top of each other! "Look at that," Jill laughed, "I didn't think I could do it!"
​Pat was on a rolling streak, carefully counting up her score to announce a whopping total: "I got fourteen in this box and fourteen in that one!" A super impressive 28 points—she was over the moon! 🎯👏
​Meanwhile, Derek and Tina went head-to-head in a "wind the spider" race, with Tina taking a speedy victory! 🕷️💨 Derek bounced right back to win the cup race, with Jean hot on his heels. Jean was just as delighted with her second-place finish, and both did an amazing job tackling the puzzles together. 🧩
​Moments like these—full of laughter, focus, and proud triumph—make our days so special. ❤️
