Feeling hotter, more tired, more emotional lately… and blaming the weather?

Maybe it’s not just the heat.

If you’re a woman 40+ and this hot weather feels harder than it used to… you’re not imagining it.

You may notice:
💦 Sweating more
😴 Sleeping badly
😵 Brain fog
😓 Feeling overwhelmed, cravings sugar
🔥 Feeling warm even when others seem fine.

Then you tell yourself:

“It’s summer.”
“I just need to push through.”
“I’m getting older.”

But when hormones start shifting in perimenopause, your body can become more sensitive to heat, stress, and poor sleep.

And when life is already busy with work, family, cooking, and everyone needing something from you… it can feel exhausting.

Your body doesn’t always need more discipline. Sometimes it needs more support.

Start with foundations:
💧 Hydrate consistently
🥗 Eat balanced meals with protein
🚶 Move in a way that gives energy, not drains it
😴 Support sleep
🧘 Lower stress where possible

Small daily changes can make a difference.

Read Maria' s story:

Maria came to work with me, she was feeling frustrated and exhausted.

She had been diagnosed with fatty liver and was also dealing with autoimmune-related concerns. She experienced ongoing discomfort and pain on the right side of her abdomen, and despite investigations, she still felt she wasn’t getting the improvement she hoped for.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we focused on building strong foundations for health.

Together we worked on:
🥗 Diet and nutrition to better support her body
🏃‍♀️ Movement and exercise that felt realistic and sustainable
🧘 Stress management and nervous system support
😴 Healthy sleep routines and recovery
🌿 Reducing overall toxic load and creating supportive daily habits

Over time, Maria noticed something powerful — her discomfort gradually improved, she started feeling more comfortable in her body, and she regained confidence in her health journey.

This is why I believe health starts with foundations. Supporting the body consistently through nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management and lifestyle can create meaningful changes over time.

Every journey is individual, but small daily choices can add up to big changes 🤍

Still bloated in perimenopause… even when you’re eating healthy?

It may not only be the food.

Many women notice digestive changes during perimenopause and immediately start removing gluten, dairy, sugar…

But sometimes one of the biggest missing pieces is stress.

Your digestion is closely connected to your nervous system.

When stress stays high for long periods, your body may prioritise survival over digestion.

That can show up as:

🤍 Bloating
🤍 Constipation
🤍 Feeling uncomfortable after meals
🤍 Food sensitivities
🤍 Changes in appetite
🤍 Gut symptoms that seem to come out of nowhere

Sometimes your body isn’t asking for more restriction.

Sometimes it’s asking for more support 💚

My mum went through menopause and barely noticed it — her periods stopped at 45 and apart from that, she had no symptoms.

Is that possible? Yes — some women experience very few symptoms, or almost none at all. Every woman’s experience is different.

A healthy lifestyle built over time may help support how women feel through this transition:
🥗 Balanced nutrition
🏃‍♀️ Regular movement
😴 Good quality sleep
🧘 Stress management
💪 Maintaining muscle mass and metabolic health

In the same time, having symptoms does not mean someone did something wrong. Genetics, hormones, stress levels and many other factors influence how menopause is experienced.

Menopause doesn’t have to be something we fear — it’s a stage of life worth preparing for early ❤️

Did you know that after the age of 30, women naturally begin to gradually lose bone minerals — and this process can speed up during menopause?

One reason is the drop in estrogen levels, which can make it more difficult for the body to maintain bone density and support normal calcium balance.

That’s why bone health is about more than simply eating more calcium.

For calcium to be properly used, your body also needs enough vitamin D (to support calcium absorption), magnesium (which plays a role in vitamin D metabolism), and vitamin K2 (which helps support moving calcium into bones).

One simple meal idea? Sardines with pasta — sardines naturally provide calcium (especially if you eat the soft bones), along with protein and other nutrients.

Small habits today can help support stronger bones for the years ahead.

PCOS is not always just about hormones.

Many women with PCOS are told they have irregular periods, weight gain, acne, cravings, or difficulty losing weight.

But one question is worth asking:

What may be contributing to these symptoms?

For many women, one important factor can be insulin resistance.

When the body becomes less responsive to insulin, it may produce more of it — and higher insulin levels can influence hormones and worsen some PCOS symptoms.

Common signs women talk about:
✨ Strong sugar cravings
✨ Energy crashes
✨ Weight gain around the middle
✨ Feeling hungry often
✨ Difficulty losing weight

This doesn’t mean insulin is the cause for everyone with PCOS — PCOS is complex and each woman is different.

But alongside medical care, lifestyle habits such as balanced meals, movement, sleep, and stress management can make a real difference.

Your symptoms are information, not your identity.

Have you ever looked beyond the diagnosis and explored what may be driving your symptoms?
