Behind every number is a story of courage, connection and hope.

✨ 2,921 hours of support delivered
🐶 27 certified therapy dogs working alongside 20 incredible practitioners
💛 404 children and young people supported
📅 91 sessions delivered every week
🏫 27 school contracts helping children thrive
🏡 60 families supported at home and in the community
🤝 Working across 13 local authorities

We’re so proud of the difference our therapy dogs and team have made this year. Thank you to every family, school, partner and supporter who has been part of our journey. Together, we’re changing lives—one paw at a time. 🐾

🙏 Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, community fundraisers, grant-makers and partner organisations, we’ve been able to provide support when families needed it most.

So far this year, public fundraising has enabled us to deliver:
🐾 41 fully funded or subsidised canine assisted sessions
🐾 this has supported 8 different children and families

These sessions have been offered to families who were unable to access funding through other routes, whether because they didn’t meet funding criteria, were waiting for statutory support to be agreed, or simply couldn’t afford to fund the service privately.

For many families, these sessions have provided vital intervention, helping children begin building confidence, reducing anxiety and developing trusted relationships while longer-term support is explored.

To every person who has donated, organised a fundraiser, awarded us a grant or supported our work in any way.. Thank you. Your kindness is creating opportunities for children and young people who might otherwise have gone without the support they need.

🌿 Can you help us find a place to call home? 💜

PAWS is searching for land in the Berkshire area to create a dedicated SEN Alternative Provision, where children and young people can learn, grow and thrive alongside animals in a safe, therapeutic environment.

We’re looking for:
🐑 Farmland with space
🌳 Empty land with development potential
🏡 A rural site where we can build a future for young people who need a different path to education.

This isn’t just about finding land—it’s about creating opportunities, improving wellbeing, and giving children a place where they can truly belong.

A huge shout-out to our practitioners over the last few weeks. The end of the summer term hasn’t been easy with consecutive heatwaves ☀️All@of our practitioners have had to adapt and think on their feet to provide support and care for our clients, which hasn’t been easy - But they have absolutely smashed it and we are so grateful and proud of the work we deliver. Most have finished in schools as the summer term comes to a close, but we will still be supporting many clients over the holidays and we will also be taking the time to gives our teams some rest and recovery time. Looking forward to delivering more news and updates on our socials over the summer 💛🧡💚💙

Trying to keep cool during the heatwave this week ☀️ It’s been a tough week for everyone up and down the UK! As always we prioritise the health and wellbeing not only of our clients, but our superstar canine companions.

We are so grateful to our practitioners who are still where possible getting out to schools and YP needing support. And also grateful for them keeping their dogs cool and looked after during the hot weather. Pictured is Misu enjoying a nice chilly 🥶 licky mat.
