This autumn, the grounds of Dorothy House will be transformed by Moments of Light - a breathtaking new installation by internationally renowned artist and Dorothy House Ambassador, Bruce Munro.

As evening falls, thousands of illuminated forms will glow across the landscape, creating a place of beauty, remembrance and quiet inspiration. Whether you come to reflect, remember someone special, or simply experience the wonder of light in nature, Moments of Light offers a chance to pause and be present.

Created to be felt as much as seen, this unique experience invites visitors to step into a landscape where light, nature and connection come together.

If you follow our Dorothy House Retail page, you'll have seen the absolute superstar that is our volunteer Ainslie brave the shave to raise funds for the Hospice!

On Saturday 18 July, Ainslie, who volunteers in our Midsomer Norton Clothes shop, became GI Jane-sley, raising over £2,000 in the process!

Sadly, Ainslie's dear friend Chantal recently died of cancer, and spent her final days cared for on our Inpatient Unit. While Ainslie knew about the care we provided at the Hospice, it wasn't until she visited Chantal that she realised how special it was. Ainslie has volunteered with us for ten years, but she decided that she wanted to do something more for Dorothy House, both helping to raise funds and to thank us for caring for her friend.

Well done, Ainslie! 👏

We offer sessions in Chippenham, Frome, Keynsham, Trowbridge, and at the Hospice in Winsley. We also run an online session every Monday via Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
