With all the recent heatwaves and warm weather, wards across Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS FT have been feeling the heat. ☀️

To help make visits a little more comfortable for parents spending precious time with their babies on the neonatal unit, our wonderful ambassador Ishfaq Farooq kindly donated a number of fans to the unit.

The British Police Symphony Orchestra is coming to town with iconic tunes from Aladdin, Star Wars, and more—all to support a cause very close to our hearts!

Raising the roof for babies in Bradford. 🎶

The British Police Symphony Orchestra will be performing ‘Film and Family Favourites’ for a charity concert supporting Bradford Hospitals Charity's ‘Home from Home’ Appeal. 💙

The ‘Home from Home’ will create a welcoming space for families with babies in neonatal and intensive care at Bradford Royal Infirmary – giving them somewhere to rest, wash and cook while staying close to their baby.

Our 2026 annual parent and carer survey is now 🌟LIVE 🌟and we would love to hear from you about your neonatal experience.

If your baby spent time on a neonatal unit in Yorkshire and the Humber in the last 2 years we would really appreciate your feedback to help us improve services for families and their babies.

The survey takes around 20 minutes to complete and gives you the opportunity to tell us about your experiences of:

- Accessing the neonatal unit
- Being involved in your baby’s care
- Decision making
- Ward rounds
- Supporting your baby through procedures
- And much more!

Now we have dried off we wanted to say.

We are so proud of our amazing dragon boat team who gave it their all, laughed together, paddled hard and didn't capsize the boat.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us so far – whether you donated, shared our fundraising page, or came along to support us on the day. Your generosity and encouragement have meant so much.

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY! 🚣‍♂️🐉

Our Bradford Neonatal staff are transforming into Water Ninjas tomorrow for the ultimate Dragon Boat Race at Roberts Park, Saltaire!

We are hitting the waters to raise vital funds for our Home from Home Appeal, working with Bradford Hospitals Charity and The Sick Children's Trust Every single penny raised from our day goes directly towards the new build.

If you are local, come down to Roberts Park tomorrow to cheer us on! If you can't make it, you can still support our ninjas and help ease the burden on these families by donating to our JustGiving page.
