🚨 Two Cardiff takeaway workers jailed for 32 years total

Azad Ahmed, 50, and Waseel Shikel, 51, from Grangetown, each got 16-year sentences at Newport Crown Court for grooming and sexually exploiting two vulnerable teenage girls in care.

What happened:
In 2021 they targeted the girls, plied them with alcohol and drugs, and drove them to remote spots. Ahmed was convicted of r**e and sexual activity with a child. Shikel was convicted of arranging travel for sexual exploitation.

Sentence:
12 years in custody + 4 years on licence each, lifelong restraining orders, and parole review after 8 years. The judge called them dangerous offenders who showed no remorse.

The victim said the abuse left her with severe anxiety and depression.
