It is with great sadness that we share the news that Patrick Murphy, who was a previous presenter at our Hospital Radio - St Luke's Sound has died at the age of 95. Patrick was still broadcasting at the age of 93, when unfortunately illness forced him to hang up his headphones.

Our sincere condolences go out to his family.

We’re saddened to hear of the passing of Patrick Murphy, a much-loved former presenter at St Luke’s Sound. From bringing music and laughter to patients and staff to becoming the UK’s oldest working radio DJ, Patrick’s energy and joy were truly inspiring. His legacy will always be a part of St Luke’s Sound and Bradford Teaching Hospitals. 🤍🩵💙
