At Home Instead, our Care Professionals across Braintree and the wider area support older adults with companionship, home help, personal care, outings, and the everyday routines that help them live well at home.

We have various local roles available, and you don’t need previous care experience. We provide full training, ongoing support, and skills that stay with you for life.

Today we're celebrating a very special milestone, Lisa's 5-year anniversary with Home Instead Braintree! 🎉

Lisa was one of our very first Care Professionals and over the past five years she has become such an important part of our team. We couldn't be more proud to have her with us.

A while back, Lisa shared her story with us about how she started working for Home Instead and what the role means to her. It's a story well worth listening to and gives a lovely insight into the person behind the Care Professional.

Lisa has a wonderful way of looking at care. She really observes her clients, listens to them and notices the little things that can make their day-to-day lives easier or more enjoyable. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, she comes up with thoughtful, personalised ideas based on each person's interests, needs and circumstances.

That's what makes personalised care so special.

Lisa, thank you for five fantastic years! Thank you for your dedication, kindness and for being such a valued part of the Home Instead Braintree family.

Picnic at Gosfield Lake Resort

Yesterday we got together for our Home Instead Braintree Summer Picnic, and it was a beautiful evening (a bit chilly for some ☺️)!

The food was absolutely amazing, and our team really outdid themselves. A huge thank you to everyone who put so much time, effort and love into making it such a special occasion.

🍦 Amanda and Steve's homemade ice cream was an absolute treat!
🥧 Niamh's homemade quiche was delicious.
🍖 Grainne's wonderfully cooked ham went down a storm.
🥗 And Sarah's very tasty noodle salad was a big hit too!

The whole team thoroughly appreciated all the hard work that went into the food and organisation. It's these little touches that make getting together so special. ️

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. It's lovely to have the chance to get together, relax, have a laugh and enjoy each other's company outside of work.

Now… who's already looking forward to next year's picnic/ bbq?
