🇲🇨Seated armchair travel to Monaco 🇲🇨

Our armchair world tour just made a glamorous stop in the beautiful principality of Monaco! Residents enjoyed a captivating virtual tour, exploring the country’s most iconic landmarks and scenic coastlines right from their seats.
The adventure continued with a taste of authentic Monegasque cuisine as everyone sampled traditional, flavourful meatballs. 🇲🇨

Some of our residents had a blast this afternoon playing Jenga and Snakes and Ladders. From towering blocks to lucky dice rolls and non-stop laughter by all.🧩✨

We started our day off with taking part in a uplifting, energising seated armchair exercise session led by Stephan on Oomph. 💪

We then teamed up and participated in a world athletics championships quiz 🏆

This afternoon our memory sparking game with 'finish the sayings' was a great hit, it sparked wonderful conversations and brought back fond memories for everyone involved.

We finished the day with a couple of games of dominoes at the activities table.

Our residents enjoyed a morning of pure pampering! They relaxed with soothing face masks, gentle hand massages, and fresh manicures. 💅✨

This afternoon residents enjoyed participating in a reminiscing activity playing a guessing game of 'who am i?', Laura read out clues of the famous person and went around the room with the pictures and everyone enjoyed guessing who was in the photo. 🕵️‍♂️

Brian had a lovely visit from his son and daughter in law and their dogs Bear and Holly and everyone had the pleasure of meeting Holly 🥰

Eyes down for a couple of games of bingo in the lounge this morning, lots of smiles and laughter throughout the game. Well done to Brian, Maisie, Ray and John for being our winners 🏆 😀

This afternoon we all enjoyed a group read and discussion of the weekly digest newsletter. Today was all about national Radio day, some great memories where shared, and we explored 1989 music charts, and enjoyed a singalong.

We then tested our knowledge on all things Cadburys with a picture quiz.🍫

Everyone teamed up for a fun, brain boosting game of 'words in word' in the garden this morning. Everyone did so well and came up with so many words🧠

This afternoon residents enjoyed trying a different variety of different flavoured cold drinks and ice cream keeping eveyone cool and hydrated 🍦🥤

Eveyone participated in playing a few games of higher and lower, well done to John, Babs and Donald for being our winners 🏆😀

We spent some time in the garden for out craft session, residents enjoyed making their own bird feeders, using recycled toilet rolls and covered them in peanut butter and bird food and we hung them up around the garden. 🐦

This afternoon residents enjoyed playing a few games of dominoes before it got hot.

We then used the digital tablet to take part in a group trivia quiz and we played a couple of games of Deal or No Deal in the lounge this afternoon enjoying cold drinks and ice creams

We had a lovely coffee morning in the garden today! Everyone caught up over tea and biscuits and joined in with a group quiz and eveyone came up with some fantastic ideas for our upcoming day trips.🌞

We had fun this afternoon with our 'Toss & Talk' beachball game! We threw a beach ball covered in different questions around the circle, which sparked some wonderful memories and it was lovely to hear so many wonderful stories while enjoying ice creams in this hot weather 🏐🍦😃

Eyes down for a morning of bingo in the lounge! A huge well done to our lucky winners Phyllis, John, Donald, and Ken! 🏆👏

The fun continued this afternoon with a lovely stroll into town. We stopped off at our absolute favourite, Yummys cafe, enjoying some delicious tea, cake, and plenty of laughs in the sunshine! ☀️🍰🫖
