I took on Basking Babies as a first time mum when Violet was 6 weeks old and we’ve both grown with it.

This first photo is from our party this week and the second photo was taken at my first ever party during lockdown - that’s a 9 month old Violet strapped to my chest.

During that time you could be in a hall with me and 25 other mamas but not in your own house with one friend…. 🙃

Violet is turning 6 years old this week and so many emotions are wrapped up in that milestone.

I’m SO proud of my little lockdown baby, she’ll forever be my little side kick and because of her I’ve had the privilege of supporting hundreds and hundreds of mamas and babies x

🐻 Just a little note for anyone joining us for our Teddy Bear picnic party (Friday 24th July)

✨We’re so excited for a morning of baby bear cubs, treats, and memories with you & your little ones!

📣 Pram note: To make the most of the space, please leave prams in your car if you can 🚗 If you’ve walked, you’re welcome to bring yours inside. Car seats also welcome to be brought in if needed but we will have plenty of soft spaces for you to lay babies down.

📍 Marks Farm Community Centre Dunstable Dr, Braintree CM7 3LT
🚘 There is a free carpark directly outside the hall plus, Tesco’s carpark a 10 min walk away and free on road parking around the hall.

A room full of mamas who walked through the door as strangers.

Not knowing who they would meet, not knowing the friendships that would grow, and not knowing that these women would become such an important part of their motherhood journey.

They came along to class with their beautiful babies, and somewhere between the cuddles, chats, giggles and those “me too” moments, friendships started to blossom. 🤍

Now they’re meeting for coffee dates, playdates and making memories together outside of class too - creating their own little village of support.

This is the bit I love the most about what we do.

Yes, we teach baby massage, baby yoga and create those precious bonding moments… but watching mums find their people, their support network and friendships that make this season of life feel a little less lonely is something so incredibly special.

Seeing these friendships grow while they’re still on their journey with us is such a privilege. 🥹

Oh hello, I am still here! 👋🏻 😅

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately… but it’s because life has been wonderfully busy 💜

Our classes across all venues are now fully booked until September and October, we’ve welcomed so many lovely new mamas and babies, and it’s been so special seeing lots of my Pregnancy Circle babies arriving into the world (with even more due over the next few weeks!). 🥹

This Friday is our Teddy Bear Picnic Party, and tomorrow I’m collecting 40 little teddies ready for all the babies to take home! 🧸

We have just 4 spaces left before we’re completely sold out for that too! 💜

It’s also now the summer holidays, so I’ve been making the most of some precious time with my own two little girls too. ☀️

I know I am so behind on messages, I will catch up! I’m so grateful for the patience and kindness our mamas show. I promise I’m appalling at admin but fantastic at the rest! x

Couldn’t recommend Basking Babies Braintree enough! I was so unsure whether I wanted to do any baby groups but Carla made me feel so welcome and helped create such a safe space where I made connections with other mums that have really helped me during my time being a 1st time mum! Not only that but my baby absolutely loved it! Baby Massage and then baby yoga on Fridays were one of the best parts of my maternity leave for me and my baby
