What are the rituals that belong to these lands? 🌾

This was one of the questions that eventually led me to create Sacred Cycles almost two years ago.

Yoga was my doorway into spirituality, but over time I became increasingly curious about the land beneath my own feet. The seasons. The old festivals. The ways people once marked harvest, darkness, light, death and renewal.

The Wheel of the Year gave me a framework for something I already felt deeply:

we are nature too, and we are not supposed to bloom all year long.

Sacred Cycles became a way of pausing at these seasonal thresholds. To notice what is changing around us, and perhaps what is changing within us too.

Next, we gather for Mabon and the Autumn Equinox 🌾

A moment to honour the expansion and harvest of summer before beginning the gentle turn inward.

🍂 SEPTEMBER 🍂

As the wheel turns and we begin to feel that first coolness in the air, the evenings drawing in and the landscape starting its slow shift towards autumn, we land in September.

One of my favourite months of the year.

There’s something about September that feels like an exhale. We’re not quite ready to disappear into the darker half of the year, but the expansive energy of summer is beginning to soften. A moment to gather ourselves, integrate all that summer has held, and begin that gentle turn inwards.

And there are some gorgeous ways to gather together this month…

🌾 LAST DAYS OF SUMMER RETREAT
11th–13th September | West Lexham

My annual women’s retreat and, incredibly, there is ONE final space remaining in a beautiful Woodland Cabin with its own ensuite.

We begin next Friday, so if you’ve been watching from the sidelines, wondering whether to come, perhaps this is your little sign. Three days of movement, rest, ritual, delicious food, nature, connection and space to simply be.

🍂 SACRED CYCLES: MABON
Friday 18th September | 7:30–9:30pm
The Wild Yoga Garden, Burnham Deepdale

Our next gathering around the Celtic Wheel of the Year brings us to Mabon and the Autumn Equinox, that beautiful moment of balance between light and dark.

We’ll gather in ritual to honour the changing season, celebrate what has ripened and come to fruition, and begin consciously turning towards the quieter months ahead.

👣 SARGA BODYWORK HAS ARRIVED IN THE CABIN

After my recent training, I’ve now added Sarga Myofascial Barefoot Bodywork to my treatments in the cabin in Brancaster.

Using my feet, bodyweight and the support of silks, this is a deliciously deep, slow and expansive way of working with the fascia and body. If you’ve been curious to experience it, appointments are now available to book.

September feels like a month for lingering at the threshold.

Not rushing summer out of the door, nor hurrying autumn in, but allowing ourselves to notice the shift and move with it.

Come and join me somewhere along the way 🍂🌾🤎

All events + bodywork can be found via the link in my bio xx

I’ve caught myself saying it a few times recently…

“I’m ready for autumn.” 🍂

And I am.

Summer is often my most expansive season. More gatherings, more people, more events, more energy, more doing. So when September arrives and I begin to feel that subtle inward pull, I’ll admit that I welcome it.

But I’ve been thinking about the danger of rushing too quickly into what’s next.

Because somewhere between expansion and contraction comes integration.

Summer takes us out into the world. We say yes. We stretch beyond our familiar edges. We discover what feels good, what doesn’t, where we’ve grown and sometimes… what we absolutely would not do again. 😂

Case in point: two and a half weeks living in the van, travelling Norfolk → London → Kent → Suffolk → Brighton → Bristol → Dorset → Norfolk.

Beautiful? Yes.
Expansive? Definitely.
Next summer? Two weeks by a swimming pool where somebody else makes breakfast, please. 😂

And that’s the gift of living something. We get to learn from it.

Before we rush into September and the next season begins, perhaps there’s an invitation to pause and ask:

What did this summer teach me?
Where did I expand?
Where did I meet an edge?
What do I want to carry forward?
And what am I ready to leave behind?

Nature reminds us that nothing is wasted. What grows eventually falls, and what falls becomes nourishment for whatever comes next.

Perhaps we can allow ourselves the same.

What has this summer taught you, and what are you taking with you into the season ahead? 🍂🌾

August has always felt like a month of exhale.

The frantic energy of early summer begins to soften. The evenings become a little slower, the blackberries appear in the hedgerows, and the light starts to change. Almost without noticing, nature begins inviting us inward.

This month we arrive at Lammas, the first harvest on the Celtic Wheel of the Year.

I love the invitation that this season offers. Before we rush towards autumn, we’re asked to pause and notice what has already grown.

What has flourished in your life?
What feels abundant?
What have you learnt about yourself over the past few months?

We’re often so focused on what’s still missing that we forget to acknowledge how far we’ve actually come.

For me, August feels like a reminder to savour it all. To swim in the sea a little longer. To eat tomatoes still warm from the sun. To sit around the fire with friends. To watch the swallows overhead and notice the evenings arriving just that little bit earlier.

There is medicine in paying attention.

I hope these reflections offer you a gentle pause this month and perhaps encourage you to move through August a little more slowly, noticing the abundance that already exists around you and within you.

I’d love to know… what are you harvesting this season? 🌾🤍

31/07/2026

The first harvest. 🌾✨

Tonight we gathered to honour Lammas (or Lughnasadh), the Celtic festival that marks the halfway point between the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox.

A quiet threshold where the wheel of the year begins to turn.

Traditionally, Lammas celebrated the first grain harvest, a time to pause before the busyness of autumn and acknowledge what had grown through the long days of summer. It was a moment to offer gratitude for the harvest already here, whilst recognising there was still more tending to do before the season came to its close.

Tonight we slowed down.

We shared tea, moved our bodies, journaled, laughed, reflected and gathered in ritual around the fire.

We asked ourselves:
✨ What have I been cultivating?
✨ What is ready to be harvested?
✨ What still needs my care and attention?
✨ And what am I ready to release so the next season can arrive with more space?

The beauty of living seasonally is that nature gently reminds us that life isn’t about constantly striving forward. There are moments for planting, moments for growth, moments for harvest and moments for rest.

Lammas invites us to celebrate how far we’ve come, even if the harvest doesn’t yet look exactly as we imagined.

Thank you to every wonderful woman who shared this evening. It is always an honour to witness what unfolds when we gather in circle.

Happy Lammas. May your harvest be abundant, in whatever form it arrives. 🌾🤍

LAMMAS 🌾✨

The wheel turns once more.

Lammas marks the first harvest — a quiet invitation to pause and notice what has grown. The seeds you’ve tended. The courage you’ve cultivated. The parts of yourself that have softened, strengthened and taken root over these past months.

It’s so easy to rush towards what’s next. But this season reminds us that before we gather more, we first take time to honour what already is.

This Friday evening we’ll gather beneath the canvas of the Wild Yoga Garden for a nourishing practice of gentle yoga, tea, journalling and ritual. Together we’ll mark this ancient Celtic festival, celebrating the abundance of late summer whilst making space for gratitude, reflection and intention for the season ahead.

If you’ve been craving an evening to exhale, reconnect and remember yourself, we’d love to welcome you.

Ebb & Flow is a full day immersed in the beauty of the North Norfolk coast. We’ll move gently through yoga, wander the marshes, swim in the sea, warm ourselves in the sauna, share delicious food, and give ourselves permission to simply be.

A day to soften.
A day to exhale.
A day to remember what it feels like to move with the rhythm of the tides rather than the pace of the world.
