Did you know, as a professional independent funeral directors, we have always encouraged and welcome regulation of funeral directors. We have chosen to be members of the National Association of Funeral Directors and SAIF independent funeral directors. Both organisations regularly inspect our funeral homes to ensure the highest standards of care are being maintained, that proper record keeping is in place in all areas of the funeral home.

We have been inspected since first opening. Unfortunately, this is not something that is enforced by law, and some funeral directors choose not to come under any scrutiny or inspection procedures.

We proudly display our membership and code of conduct in our funeral homes. You can be assured that the highest level of care for you and your loved will be provided.

Always look for the NAFD or SAIF logo when choosing a funeral director.

Chris will be there throughout the day, and is happy to discuss any questions you may have, however big or small they may seem. He will also have on display our new Volvo fleet and our Austin A60 hearse.

Speaking with your local independent funeral director will ensure you can have all your wishes honoured, including being about to say goodbye to your loved one. This is not the case with the online cremation services, and is often found out too late.

Please take a moment to watch this short video that shares a families personal experience of a well-known online direct cremation provider.

Mr Trickers father had a plan arranged with the online cremation provider, after speaking with the plan provider they realised there were unanswered questions, and they wouldn't be able to pay their final respects to their loved one.

Fortunately, the family spoke to a local independent funeral director, who spoke to them with respect and care. They then realised the plan could be cancelled. By cancelling the plan the family were able to have a say in the arrangements for an unattended cremation, they were able to say goodbye to their father, and they were cared for by a local experienced funeral director who saw them as people, not figures.
