Earlier this week we welcomed Charles Cross to our Witham HQ to deliver some training on his incredible platform emma AI! Technology is something that we at Calm Futures are really excited about implementing and, under the careful supervision of our new Digital Transformation Lead Sundeep Sagoo, are continuing to roll out a group wide integration plan of our 3 main systems: Sona, Nourish Care and Emma AI.

The ultimate goal? Allowing our staff to spend less time on the mundane tasks and more time on improving outcomes for the People We Support. 🤩

Recently, Jodie joined as has been attending her local Slimming World and over the past few weeks has lost half a stone. Rightfully so, she's really proud of herself, and "want every one to see it i thought i could not lose weight!" congratulations Jodie, keep up the hard work!

As works continue at Great Oaks, we’ve been busy documenting not only all that goes into our refurbishments, but also some pieces to help welcome new staff into the business and bring them up to speed on all that we do, and stand for. There’s so much thought and care (pardon the pun!) that goes into everything we as a business strive for, and passion is something we are grateful to have in abundance throughout our organisation 🩷🖤

We recently welcomed Mark Penney to Calm Futures as our new Group Managing Director.

Mark brings a wealth of experience in adult social care, having worked in senior leadership roles across a number of leading care providers. Throughout his career, he has supported the growth and development of services across learning disability, autism, mental health, and specialist complex care settings, always with a strong focus on quality, compassion, and positive outcomes.

Passionate about improving the lives of the people we support, Mark believes that the best outcomes are achieved through inclusive, collaborative working and strong relationships with colleagues, families, and communities. Mark is also a strong advocate for recognising the dedication and contribution of frontline teams, valuing the important role colleagues play every day in delivering high-quality care and support.

We’re really looking forward to working alongside him, and the insight he brings to our ever growing organisation.
