Today we were delighted to welcome a wonderful a ca****la singer to Roselands Care Home. The beautiful music filled the room, and it wasn't long before our residents were singing along, smiling, and joining in with the performance.

The interaction and shared enjoyment created a lovely atmosphere, bringing back treasured memories and sparking meaningful conversations. Music has a special way of connecting people, and today's visit was a wonderful reminder of that.

Moments like these help to boost self-esteem, support emotional wellbeing, and bring joy to our residents. Memories were made, laughter was shared, and everyone had a fantastic time.

The residents celebrated national waffle day with delicious sweet treats! Everyone enjoyed choosing their favourite toppings, creating their own perfect waffle just the way they liked it. From fruity favourites to extra sweet delight, there was something for everyone. The activity brought lots of smiles, laughter and happy memories, making it a wonderful way to spend the day together.

What an absolute joy of an afternoon we had at Roselands. We had a lovely singer visit. The lounge was filled with non stop singing, dancing and plenty of smiles 😁. Moments like these create the sweetest memories and do wonders for our residents health and happiness. Music 🎵🎶 really is the best medicine.

Bramble picking and baking! 🌿🧁

Our residents at Roselands Care Home had a wonderful time in the kitchen today. We used freshly picked blackberries to bake a batch of delicious blackberry muffins, and everyone enjoyed tasting the warm, sweet results straight from the oven.

Activities like this are fantastic for our residents' self-esteem, giving them a wonderful sense of pride and accomplishment in creating something with their own hands. So proud of our bakers today! 💛
