Here’s the Father’s Day gift that keeps on giving!

I have never planted seeded potatoes in the planter that Dad made but every year regardless of digging deep down into the soil and checking that every little one is removed, without fail come spring there are the little shoots of a potato plant! Here’s this years harvest!

While Dad is no longer with us, on the upcoming Father’s Day this is a beautiful reminder of him. 💗🪴

Everyone that’s been here so far is loving the room and the views. I spied a deer on the course last week and am loving the sounds of birds chirping when I have the door open.

Yippee… Evil Bone Water delivery arrived this morning from the US.

I have patients who have been eagerly awaiting this delivery. I’ve felt like I’m a drug dealer rationing supplies 😂 over the last two weeks but it’s an amazing product that works fabulously with MSK issues!

40 years ago I passed needlecraft with a grade 1. 28 years ago my parents bought me a sewing machine as part of my wedding gifts…
Over the years the sewing machine has sat in the loft room gathering dust and today I went into the eaves to bring it down to do some repairs. Having given it a good old clean, I realised I don’t have the right colour threads in my little sewing box…. Another trip around the house to find mum’s one. What a treasure trove! Those that know me personally know mum is unable to do any sewing now…. I never need to buy any sewing threads, safety pins, EVER again! ✨💖🥰

Now to see if I can sew in a straight line!

I had this delicious sweet and sour courgette pickle earlier this year when visiting some patients in Switzerland.

I have been (very impatiently 😂) waiting to harvest my yellow and green courgettes in the garden to make up a batch. Today Mum and I picked three courgettes and have made up a jar. Yippeeee!!

Next job to find a good tomato relish recipe! 🤓
