Due to staff illness, we are short staffed today. It will therefore take us longer to process prescriptions, both repeats and those which are brought into us.

Please bear with us while we do our best. If you do not need your prescription today, please wait until Monday if you can, or tomorrow if you need it over the weekend.

Due to the extreme weather we are shorter staffed than usual. We are doing all we can to keep up with prescriptions but please bear with us.

As mentioned previously our wholesalers have also reduced their delivery schedules this week due to the weather.

Our staff are working very hard under difficult circumstances and we ask that you are patient and understanding.

We have been advised that deliveries from our wholesalers may be reduced to once daily this week, due to the extreme weather.

This will increase the time it takes us to prepare your prescriptions.
Please allow at least 7 days from when you ordered your repeat before coming to collect it.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE**

Deliveries of medication from various suppliers for both Ogmore Vale and Nantymoel Pharmacies have failed this morning.

This is going to delay us getting your medicine ready today.

If you were due to collect today, please wait until tomorrow afternoon.

We get a lot of calls asking if prescriptions are ready. This stops us from preparing prescriptions to answer the phone. If you ordered your prescription 7 days earlier, it should be ready, there is no need to phone us. If you ordered it less than 7 days ago, it might not be ready, due to failed deliveries like has happened today, so please wait 7 days and then come and collect it.

We are having new phone systems installed in both of our Pharmacies today and there will some disruption to the service.

The struggle to get hold of medication is set to get worse.

People living with conditions include heart problems, stroke risks, eye infections and bipolar are unable to get hold of the drugs they rely on.
