Restless legs syndrome can be incredibly disruptive. 🦵

That uncomfortable urge to move, stretch, bend or rub your legs can make settling down at night extremely difficult — and poor sleep can affect your whole day.

There isn’t always an obvious cause, but iron deficiency and other underlying health problems can be associated with restless legs syndrome. Blood tests may therefore be useful depending on your symptoms and medical history.

If you’re experiencing persistent symptoms, don’t just put up with them. Understanding what’s happening is the first step.

If you want help understanding your symptoms, blood results or overall health, drop me a message about Your Health Explained.

Weight regain after stopping weight-loss injections is common — but why does it happen?

These medications can reduce appetite and help with weight management, but stopping them doesn’t automatically remove the factors that contributed to weight gain in the first place.

That’s why weight management is about more than simply taking an injection. Understanding your appetite, habits, nutrition and long-term plan matters.

If you’re considering stopping or starting weight-loss medication, make sure you understand what happens next.

A blood pressure reading is more than just a number.

I checked mine and got 138/80 — but do you actually know what your blood pressure numbers mean? Are they high, low, or within the range you would expect?

AI and Google can give you general information, but your health needs context — your age, history, medications, symptoms and other health factors all matter.

We’re not treating numbers. We’re treating you.

If you want to better understand your health, drop me a message.

16 kg → 20 kg. 💪

I had to step it up this time — and honestly, it was tough.

My wrists aren’t my strongest point, so I had to support my wrist to get through it safely.

But that’s the point: determination to improve can apply to anything in life. You don’t have to be the strongest or the best — you just need to keep challenging yourself, recognise your limitations, adapt and keep progressing.

20 kg done. What should I try next? 👀

I lost 8 kg in 6 months without a fancy diet.

I simply identified one thing in my diet that was contributing unnecessary calories and cut it out.

It doesn’t have to be the same thing for everyone — it could be sugary drinks, frequent snacks, chocolate, alcohol, or something else you regularly consume.

The key isn’t finding a “magic” food to remove. It’s finding one realistic change you can actually maintain, creating a sustainable calorie deficit, and building better habits around food and activity.

Small changes, consistently made, can make a big difference.

I’ve been doing this for almost 20 years — eating once a day, usually between 8:00 and 9:30, without following a rigid diet or constantly counting calories.

I eat the foods I enjoy and listen to what my body needs, while keeping my weight relatively stable.

But here’s the important part: there’s a reason this works for me — and it’s not simply “eat once a day.”

Individual results vary, and there isn’t one approach that works for everyone.

Want to know what I mean by the “trick”? 👀
Send me a DM and I’ll explain it.
