On May 26th 2026, in Hospital at Wolverhampton, in the presence of his Family, Steve Ellis, of Enville, Nr. Stourbridge, formerly of Coseley aged 61 years.
The beloved Husband and best friend of Carina, the loving Father of Luke and Sean, Father in Law of Kelly and Lynsey, the dear Grandad of Jaxon, Louie, Kady and Avie, the adored Son of Sheila and the late Joseph Ellis, the Step-son of the late
Colin, and the Brother of Duane, Paul, Tony and the late Dean. Much loved and greatly respected within the community, Steve will be sadly missed by his Family, by friends and neighbours, by former colleagues and customers of A.B. Waste, where he will be well remembered for his service as Transport Manager, and by all those
dearest to him.
Funeral service at The Parish Church of St. Mary The Virgin, Enville (DY7 5LB) on Thursday June 18th at 12.00 Noon, to be followed by cremation at Gornal Wood Crematorium, Dudley (DY3 2RL)
A post-funeral reception will follow, to be hosted at 'The Dudley Arms', Himley (DY3 4LB) to which all Mourners are most warmly invited.

The family of the late Patricia Bristow have asked for us to share the below information with the community:

on 27th May 2026, peacefully in hospital at Shrewsbury,
Trish Bristow of Eardington, Nr. Bridgnorth, aged 76 years.
Trish will be sadly missed by all her family, friends and community.
A private ceremony will take place on Friday 19th June,
and will be followed by a gathering at The Down Inn from 11.15am, where everyone is welcome to join and celebrate her life.

Thank you to Shropshire Council Highways for completing this work and making the area safe and restricting the damage caused to our facility.

Also, thank you to the community, Stuart Anderson MP and Bridgnorth Town Council for your support in highlighting the issue.

Follow up statement from Chris Adams:

“So pleased the ‘crater’ has gone. It will make our lives a lot easier, and easier for the thousands of motorists who travel along Underhill Street daily. A big thank you to all concerned, but especially the chaps from Shropshire Council who completed the repair last night. Many thanks.”
