๐ŸŽ™๏ธ New episode of Grief Unedited is now live!

This week Iโ€™m joined by John Adams, a fourth-generation Funeral Director and passionate campaigner for changing the way we talk about death and grief.

We talk about losing his mum at just 12, having honest conversations about death with children, supporting families through some of their hardest moments, and his campaign to bring death and bereavement education into schools.

A really honest and thought-provoking conversation about grief, connection and finding the courage to create change.

Listen now wherever you get your podcasts!

If you enjoy the show, please like, share, leave a review or support via Buy Me a Coffee to help keep this passion project going. Buy me a Coffee: http://buymeacoffee.com/griefunedited

Safe travels, Jock & Leah! ๐Ÿ›ซ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ

Thank you both for a fantastic week, itโ€™s been an absolute pleasure having you here!

For the final part of their travels, Jock joined John as a guest on Black Country Radio, alongside host Leigh Perry and Robin Watson from Funeral Branch. Thank uou to Leigh and Robin for making them both feel so welcome ๐Ÿ™

They spoke about something that feels particularly special, bereavement education beginning across the English education system as of next week and how there is now a movement happening in Australia.

It was also a chance to look back at the journey to get here. When John first appeared on Black Country Radio, in 2022, while the petition was live, they were sitting at just under 10,000 signatures. To now be talking about bereavement education actually becoming part of what children and young people will learn about was a real full-circle moment - also how it is now moving to other parts of the World including Australia!

Jock spoke brilliantly on the radio, sharing his perspective from Australia and reflecting on his time with Perry and Phillips over the past week. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™

And there was only one way to finish the tripโ€ฆ

Jock and Leah joined the family at Molineux to watch Wolves beat Stoke City 4โ€“1! ๐ŸŽ‰โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿบ

A great end to a fantastic week together.

Safe travels home to Australia, Jock and Leah. We look forward to continuing and growing the connection between Perry & Phillips , Piddington's Funeral Home & Crematorium and Funerals Australia.

This week may have come to an end, but hopefully itโ€™s just the start of something much bigger. ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ
