Evening, just what I know currently and having spoken to peak early on in the week…

Any prescription ordered before Monday 13th should be ready to collect from peak they have a table at there front door.
Monday-Tues any prescriptions authorised maybe with peak but unable to be dispensed so therefore stuck on there computer unable to do anything with and may need to be re issued by the gp, some will have been sent to the electronic system where any pharmacy can pull them off for you.
If you go into boots our ourselves at Bridgnorth Pharmacy - Low Town with your nhs number (if possible) if not we can find you via name, address and date of birth and then we can hopefully do it for you.
With how busy we all are we may ask you to come back later on.

To order your prescriptions, easiest way is on the NHS app and choose your nominated pharmacy and it will be sent there 5 ish working days later and should be ready to collect a day or 2 after then! (Please note it may take us longer than normal with the current situation)
We do offer a delivery service but this needs to be organised with ourselves it’s not an automatic thing just because your normal pharmacy did/does.
Any questions please feel free to message or call us but the phones have been extra busy so please bare with us all!

Evening all, as most of you are aware Bridgnorth Medical Practice has had a major flood and has been closed the last few days, as they are joined to the building this is affecting peak pharmacy too.
Therefore ourselves and boots pharmacy have been crazy busy with unexpected prescriptions and emergency supplies! This has unfortunately made us fall behind on our ordering/dispensing times. Therefore we are asking for people to be patient with us as we are trying to keep up the best we can!
Today we have had eye rolling, tutting and attitude where it’s not been necessary! We get the frustration but we won’t be accepting this, we are only trying to help! Therefore you will be asked to leave and go to another pharmacy!
This is also due to people wanting to collect their prescriptions when it’s only been 3 days!
We ask for at least 5-6 days from the date ordered (ext bank holidays and weekends) other wise there’s a chance we will not have your prescription ready and you will be asked to come back later that day or the next day!
Also wanted to say a massive thank you to those of you that have been understanding in this situation. 🩷

Due to the weather we have kept the blinds down at the front of the pharmacy to try and keep us and the shop as cool as possible!
Please note we ARE OPEN! But we are advising to come in before 4pm if possible incase we do have to close early! (But we Will do our best to stay open)
Thank you for your understanding 😁🩷

Evening all!

For patients information:

Due to recent NHS changes with the ordering of repeat prescriptions, pharmacies are experiencing a slightly longer turnaround than normal therefore we are asking for the following,

🗓️ Ordering of medication - please order 7-10 days before you are due to run out. Not ordering on time means we may not have your items in stock and therefore you might be without medication for a few days whilst we order in the items. This would be out of our control as it’s supplier delivery availability.

💊 If you’ve ordered late and your prescription isn’t ready be prepared to have to come back if the items are in stock and we are able to do the prescription for you

🫶 Be kind to staff! My main priority!
The last few weeks we have had numerous people shout at us, roll eyes, be nasty and very expectant.
We always try our best and with a smile on our face! We try our best to keep up but sometimes it’s completely out of our control!

📮Repeat prescriptions can be dropped into us and we will take them to Bridgnorth medical practice, we do this on a daily basis. We can not take phone requests other than for patients on the repeat dispensing service or otherwise pre arranged for some circumstances.

Therefore all we ask is to be responsible for your medication and be respectful when in the pharmacy!

Thank you all do the continued custom & support we all really appreciate you all!

Good morning,

📞‼️ We are experiencing issues with our phone line this morning ‼️📞

Calls will go straight to a voicemail message but it will not allow messages to be left.

We’re so sorry for any inconvenience. Please bear with us as we are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.
