Here’s another stage of the new shop complete. Massive thanks to Alan, Jack, Uncle T and my dad for all their help so far. We have completed 80% of the decoration needs (it is a lot).

Now we’ve also come the media wall to bring you music videos like it’s 80’s/90’s MTV or Kerrang!

We’ve also just started doing the barber stations for me and 2 other barbers. (Still finding it tough to find 1, my mate is now qualified and starting next year).

We’re trying to aim for the highest possible standard of finish in the shop, whilst also having complimentary drinks etc.

Hey everyone, I can’t thank you enough for the support! I’m now at 950 followers on this page and the messages of support, help and new clients are amazing. Now at 655 clients and climbing!

Hey everyone, the cat is now out the bag as many of you now know.

As of November this year I will be in a new shop located on Dunkery road Durleigh. I have grown to dislike the high st more and more over the last 2 years or so. This has led me to look at moving to a bigger and better location where there will be 3 of us barber eventually.

Also I’m needing to have 4m2 of tiling done in the new shop around where my hair wash basin will be located. I am willing to give more than the labour cost in free haircuts etc to cover so if you can tile (tile well that is) please give me a shout please. Tiling is one thing I’ve never attempted 🤣

Hello everyone, so today I realised I found my first bad review and it’s quite false to what actually happened.

I am only a barber, yes I have a care qualification and yes I cut some of the hardest little ones around.
However, I can’t be held responsible for not cutting a child’s hair because they’re being too unsafe to cut. I have to worry about my reputation, business, insurance with every single hair cut I do.

I have anywhere between 50-80 appointments a week based on which service is booked etc. I am at risk that many times for claims, poor reviews etc etc. I pride myself on being probably the only barber to battle through some horrendous sittings, this is all doable with a parent willing to do the hard stuff too (at times).

One last thing; my time isn’t free, just the same as yours, I have overheads and bills just like we all do and my time is worth what it’s worth.

I just want to make you aware that whilst I will do all I can, if I can’t safely complete the haircut, then it won’t be completed.

I know 99% of you are great with this and this is the first time for me, that I’m not rated 5 stars across Google, Facebook, instagram and Booksy. (At least I’m 4.9 star rated on Booksy I guess 😅)

I can’t thank all you good people enough. I’m not trying to get all soppy n that but it’s the first time I’ve fallen in love with work, first time I’ve been popular and the first time I’ve fit in with others. You’ve all helped improve my life and those close to me too, especially my young son Elliot who is autistic and has ADHD.

Hey everyone.

Sadly last night someone decided to smash the window to my barbershop.
As you can imagine I’m a tad pi**ed off about it. I work extremely hard and this cost is not cheap and something in which business insurance doesn’t cover.

If anyone knows who did it last night and have any info, there is a decent reward on offer.

I will be reaching out to fellow businesses to find out who did it also.

Chair rent will be reasonable and not like other some others.

Hey everyone, with the heat being a bit of an issue and me not having any windows in the shop, just the front door and a fan (sadly).

I am giving anyone a chance who wishes to cancel, they option rearrange if they so wish. There will be no cancellation fees as long as you rebook, I want to make sure everyone stays as safe as possible in this.

Also if it becomes overwhelmingly hot in the shop 30 degrees and above, I may look at going home myself.
