Beth Neal Sports Therapy

Beth Neal Sports Therapy My name is Beth Neal and I’ve been a sports therapist for 13 years. I strive in trying to make a client more mobile and less painful on a long term basis.

If you suffer from stress, knee pain, back pain, muscle stiffness then it could be eased with a sports massage. The main purpose of sports massage therapy is to help alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissues during everyday life or during physical activity. My massage times vary dependant on your needs, I am more than happy to discuss this with you during your con

sultation to make you feel 100% comfortable before your treatment. I am qualified Level 5 Neuro-spinal assessment & mobilisation, Level 5 Dry Needling treatment, ITEC level 4 sports massage, BTEC National Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science, NVQ level 2 in Gym Instructing. Later on this year i will also be qualifying in Joint Articulation.

💡 Fun Fact Tuesday

Your gluteus maximus is the largest muscle in the human body.

Its main job is to help extend your hip when walking, running, climbing stairs and standing up.

Weak glutes can contribute to knee pain, hip pain and lower back discomfort.

Strong glutes = happier movement! 🍑

💡 Fun Fact Tuesday

Did you know your muscles don’t actually “push” — they only pull?

When you straighten your knee, your quadriceps pull on the tendon attached to the shin bone. To bend the knee again, the hamstrings pull in the opposite direction.
Muscles work in pairs called agonists and antagonists, which is why balanced strength is so important for injury prevention.

🏃‍♀️ Tight quads + weak hamstrings = a common recipe for knee pain.
